I was in the Marine Corps infantry and I can tell you there were many atheists that were very annoyed by the "no atheists in a fox hole" saying

I don't understand how "Trust in YOUR ability to execute" or "trust your subconscious" equals "Trust God to take care of it" or get on your knees and start praying. 😂

Quran has taught me this with following lessons:
    1. Crystal clear intention = Niyyah
    2. Trust = Imaan
    3. Breathing = Zikr
    4. Mindfulness = Salaah
    Al’hamdulillah ❤️

While I agree with most of your points, but I don’t think dhikr equals breathing. Dhikr makes me happy and content. Dhikr gives me peace of mind. There is nothing better in this world than that. Alhamdulillah.

@@Holistic_Islam Yes Dhikr really does make us happy and content. While I personally feel it controls my breathing and blood pressure.

As one who does not believe in god and having been in several very serious "fox hole" situations I never thought of "looking for" or "asking" to be saved. This is something my religious friends would assume I would do but it didn't happen. I can't tell you the number of times people say to me "you can't be an atheist" your to kind and giving. I can tell you I have thought very deeply about my moral code and what I stand for. You do not have to believe in god or be spiritual to be a good, moral person.
