Koopa Troopa hit the pillar coming down the ramp, or as the Burnout series calls it, "Pillar Driller". This had the best channel v channel finals of the ones posted so far. And nice pipe jokes by Brendan, too. Great race here and I am very proud of Baby Boo's performance. He has the record of 11 straight wins in a tournament. Baby Boo sits above the Midas Duck now.

If I had to guess about the trapdoor "failures," I think the best drivers realized that they don't need the trapdoor to win. All it does is make someone else lose. Would you rather spend time trying to sabotage 1 of the 4 opponents, or spend that time focusing on a win? I'm not trying to say that the trapdoors were useless. They were fun to watch, and an interesting track idea. But, sadly, not everything works out as we expect when we make something competitive (I'm working on a board game, and the same is true there.). Great work, R&F! I'm looking forward to the mail-in!

This tournament was such chaotic fun. I still say that Baby Boo is a once-a-generation talent and if it were run again, he'd leave pipe in the dust.
