Did you go under the bridge? Is that a mxl? What floats are they? How did you mount them? Can you land on grass with them? I have a sprint I fly regularly and really want to get floats.
@Bo_Diesel what kind of floats are they? Did the mounting hardware come with them? I know airtec has.a few dif variations. Also. I notclice you landed on a river. That's what I would like to do. How fast is the current? Does the current give you issues? Could you shove it up onto shore with the prop power if need be, say to like beach it in an emergency? Is it easy to get in and out? Sorry for all the questions, but I'm genuinely curious.
@@Sparkplug487 these ate really old Spaulding floats that came with retractable gear on it already. Bever helped design it long time ago. Not sure you can get this version anymore. Current didn't effect me much. I could land up down sideways no problem. Beach it like a boat but turn it around before you start it up.
