We went to Florida last May and stopped at a Golden Corral on our way home and were pleasantly surprised at how great it was. I’m sorry we lost ours here in Texas because of Covid. Thanks for the video I’m sure many will be trying one out where they are available.
Golden Corral is an all time favorite to treat myself to once a year. So many different dishes to sample. A real fun place to eat when you are so ready for a variety. Senior prices are a bonus too

All three of my grandchildren went every summer until they aged out. They loved it and made lots of new friends with other military families. They are all about supporting the military ♥️

Back when Popeye's had a buffet I would go there and they would give me my buffet tray and a little cup for either chocolate or banana pudding, neither of which I ever touched. That cup got filled with chicken livers which I would then douse with that Cajun gravy. My plate would be for an enormous heap of red beans and rice, one piece of chicken and one biscuit. Greens if they looked good. You could eat until you couldn't walk for $6.99. As far as "mistake" goes, the only mistake I can think of at Golden Corral is if you don't try the blackeyed peas. They are unbelievably good!

We have a golden corral here in Evansville In. And it is great I have never been dissapoint with the service or the food great people. I am single and i have a slow cooker and I make alot of Spagehitti Stews,soups but once a month i meet a bunch of ladies there for lunch. Thank you for showing the price sign. The Senior Early Bird from 1-3 p.m. is a good price for $10.49. That really was a clean-looking Golden Coral. We ate at one in Rapid City South Dakota last summer on a roadtrip back from Montana. The lobby workers kept it very clean. It was surprisingly quiet in there for early dinnertime. They didn't have any steak that day on the buffet, I think it was burgers instead. I cant remember what we paid, but i do recall it being reasonable & close to the hotel.

We have ZERO Golden Corrals in New Jersey (never have been to a Golden Corral) ☹️. We do have diners! New Jersey is the Diner Capital of the World with over 500 diners. You will also get a home-cooked meal with huge servings. We take our diners very seriously. Your video was a pleasure to watch. 😃👍

Looks like a well run place and the key is good management and help. What time did you go? Time is important because you not want to hit it when things are wiped out or food has been sitting long.
Another awesome review. I can't remember the last time we dined at Golden corral but everything looked really delicious and yes the gloves and counter cleaning is always a good thing! We will be in the area next month I think we will try this place out. And Jen I always get a "birthday" cupcake with soft serve ice cream. It's kinda like having yourself a little party lol.

Not a good idea to watch this right before dinner because now I want to hit the Golden Corral about a mile from me! Everything looks so yummy. And for the record, you never outgrow mini corndogs as they are just fun to eat! Seems like there was a good variety of things on offer - and all very fresh, as you said. Great review.

I love vacations in Sevierville Tennessee. We have driven by the Golden Corral many times but have never gone. Next time we are in Sevierville, I definitely want to try it.
I believe all the Golden Corral’s here in the SLC, Ut area have shut down due to covid. But when it was open; we loved their food and all the many food selections.

We are Senior, so we do the early bird special. We go between 2 & 4 and get our meal with a drink for about $24.68 for both of us. We actually buy gift cards at Sam’s club and it’s cheaper. My husband love their top sirloin steak and I like everything. Definitely a deal in Las Vegas when a buffet for two can cost well over $100.

I agree, this has to be one of the cleanest I have ever seen. We used to go to one when we lived in CO, but that was a number of years ago. It did not look as modern either. Looks like they upgraded. I always thought the food was good for what it was, and everyone in the family could find what they liked. And my hubby also likes the mini corn dogs. Love that you are able to go out to eat due to TH-cam. I love watching your reviews.

I love Golden Corral's fried chicken............not greasy, but juicy, seasoned and breaded perfectly. I like their fried chicken better than KFC & their pieces are bigger, not little pieces that look like they came from a pigeon. My favorites are fried catfish and fried chicken, YEP! Southern blood here! LOL I like that you can also get food to go and pay by the pound. The fact that they have a variety of food that even meets the diet requirements for diabetics is also great!

We love Golden Corral! We used to go to one in Muskegon Michigan but I've heard they closed. I so wish they'd put one in Gaylord! This is a GREAT video.
I love this place. Before COVID they had a chocolate fountain for marshmallows, Rice Krispie treats or anything you wanted to coat in chocolate. Miss this.

trying to remember the last time we've been to a golden corral and it must be 25-30 years ago. we grew up on bonanza, sizzler and ponderosa for buffet places around here. we use to eat out all the time but in the restaurant's defense we rarely eat out anymore and mainly eat at home. if we do eat out it is never a chain name anymore, it has to be a mom and pop type place which are disappearing fast or we still enjoy the truck stop that is still family owned over 50 years already. I am a big you tube watcher too. I gave the tv to my wife and she can watch the same garbage over and over again but she does have early dementia starting to set in so she can watch a movie and watch it again the next day and think she hasn't seen it in years. so while she is watching the tv i am in the corner on my computer watching something different all the time on here. so much to explore and watch or learn. I cannot see the tv where i am at but the wife on the couch can see both the tv and my screen and quite often i catch her watching behind me she will ask a question like what country are you in?, who is that? or she says something so i know she is watching my screen too. once something happens to her i will most likely get rid of the tv box subscriptions and just stick to youtube. i will watch you tube and post comments on others thread but i won't do videos myself. even though i don't do chain restaurants anymore i still like watching these reviews and bring back memories of days gone by. who knows i might find myself in one again someday.
TH-cam has definitely changed TV watching for me as well. I find myself rarely ever watching commercial television. So many interesting things to learn and explore on TH-cam. And yes, I remember going to Bonanza and Ponderosa when I was young. They used to give you those little numbers to put on your table. They put them on your tray. It was a big treat to go there when we were young. I used to love the Texas toast. We appreciate you watching! 😊

same thing happened at the GC in Zephyrhills FL, we didn't like it either. most restaurants use a broom and dustpan on a stick during dining hours

The G corral in Prescott Az had a fire about 18 months ago…They said it was a huge grease fire 😳😜. It still has not reopened … Some people miss it .

Looks like a well run place and the key is good management and help. What time did you go? Time is important because you not want to hit it when things are wiped out or food has been sitting long.
We went about 4:30 pm! Good management is a key to everything!
Another awesome review. I can't remember the last time we dined at Golden corral but everything looked really delicious and yes the gloves and counter cleaning is always a good thing! We will be in the area next month I think we will try this place out. And Jen I always get a "birthday" cupcake with soft serve ice cream. It's kinda like having yourself a little party lol.

Not a good idea to watch this right before dinner because now I want to hit the Golden Corral about a mile from me! Everything looks so yummy. And for the record, you never outgrow mini corndogs as they are just fun to eat! Seems like there was a good variety of things on offer - and all very fresh, as you said. Great review.

I believe all the Golden Corral’s here in the SLC, Ut area have shut down due to covid.
But when it was open; we loved their food and all the many food selections.

We are Senior, so we do the early bird special. We go between 2 & 4 and get our meal with a drink for about $24.68 for both of us. We actually buy gift cards at Sam’s club and it’s cheaper. My husband love their top sirloin steak and I like everything. Definitely a deal in Las Vegas when a buffet for two can cost well over $100.

I agree, this has to be one of the cleanest I have ever seen. We used to go to one when we lived in CO, but that was a number of years ago. It did not look as modern either. Looks like they upgraded. I always thought the food was good for what it was, and everyone in the family could find what they liked. And my hubby also likes the mini corn dogs.

I love Golden Corral's fried chicken............not greasy, but juicy, seasoned and breaded perfectly. I like their fried chicken better than KFC & their pieces are bigger, not little pieces that look like they came from a pigeon. My favorites are fried catfish and fried chicken, YEP! Southern blood here! LOL I like that you can also get food to go and pay by the pound. The fact that they have a variety of food that even meets the diet requirements for diabetics is also great!

Miss my local Golden Corral. The china buffet in front of the mall is the best . Especially their salmon is always on point . And I always clean my plates no good food wasted and the owners love folks like me . I love what I get moneys worth and not a soul bothers me . Good People and good food always hits the spot right . I love this place. Before COVID they had a chocolate fountain for marshmallows, Rice Krispie treats or anything you wanted to coat in chocolate. Miss this.

Very Nice... can't wait to visit golden corral near me in Azusa CA
trying to remember the last time we've been to a golden corral and it must be 25-30 years ago. we grew up on bonanza, sizzler and ponderosa for buffet places around here. we use to eat out all the time but in the restaurant's defense we rarely eat out anymore and mainly eat at home. if we do eat out it is never a chain name anymore, it has to be a mom and pop type place which are disappearing fast or we still enjoy the truck stop that is still family owned over 50 years already.
I am a big you tube watcher too. I gave the tv to my wife and she can watch the same garbage over and over again but she does have early dementia starting to set in so she can watch a movie and watch it again the next day and think she hasn't seen it in years. so while she is watching the tv i am in the corner on my computer watching something different all the time on here. so much to explore and watch or learn. I cannot see the tv where i am at but the wife on the couch can see both the tv and my screen and quite often i catch her watching behind me she will ask a question like what country are you in?, who is that? or she says something so i know she is watching my screen too. once something happens to her i will most likely get rid of the tv box subscriptions and just stick to youtube. i will watch you tube and post comments on others thread but i won't do videos myself.
even though i don't do chain restaurants anymore i still like watching these reviews and bring back memories of days gone by. who knows i might find myself in one again someday.
TH-cam has definitely changed TV watching for me as well. I find myself rarely ever watching commercial television. So many interesting things to learn and explore on TH-cam. And yes, I remember going to Bonanza and Ponderosa when I was young. They used to give you those little numbers to put on your table. They put them on your tray. It was a big treat to go there when we were young. I used to love the Texas toast. We appreciate you watching! 😊
