Lol I’ve been listening to “these thoughts in my head” for weeks now and didn’t realize it was Jaron. And then immediately when I heard the sounds you were using, I was like, “wait a minute...”
Amazing tutorial! A little trick if you want to control all chord stacks with one midi file is to group the different instruments in an instrument rack. This basically does the same thing as sending the midi input to all the different instrument tracks you've got grouped here and it will clean up your project a little :) Keep up the quality content, absolutely nailed this one!!
No way man, this sounds so identical, are you Jaron and you commented on your own track? such a fire dropp that was a long-awaited tutorial, please make more like this, like trying to remake other producers' track, I have some ideas like Conro or INZO (overthinker) Well done :)
You could have used an instrument rack for the chords, which is essential for getting 'extra' tracks if you have an intro or even lite license. It allows you to layer the instruments that are playing the same notes but still only use just one track
I just woke up and this is the first thing im watching, thank you for making this tutorial! I have been asking around how to remake jaron's style and sound design!
shit man, u just saved me so much stress with showing that chord send to the group stack and controlling the MIDI input from there.. Had absolutely no idea you could do that. Great Tutorial as usual man
Random music producer tip: In Ableton Piano Roll, a nice feature is that you can start and stop playback anywhere you want. To do this, CTRL is important. Hold control and click space while you have a part of the midi selected in the roll. If you select midi notes, it will only play that timeframe. If you have clicked somewhere on the grid, it will start playback there and continue playing indefinitely. Peace!
That was fucking great man, i had no idea who jaron was but that was a sick tutorial, definetly putting out some of my favorite tutorials at atm keep it up man ;D
I learn a bit more from oversampled than composerily, composerily is a bit too memey to gather useful info, as Peter goes so in depth and tells us exactly why the clock works, he shows us each gear and the entire piece. Composerily gets caught up in his meme persona and gives a superficial look into each artist (this isn't bad he still gives us a decent overview into an artists style, I just prefer sectioned breakdowns that Peter and Dylan Tallchief do so well)
@@Oversampled woahhh did not know you could copy and paste on top of existing notes. you just blew my mind. amazing tutorial, as usual, btw. your remake sounds exactly like Venture. Keep killing it!

11:58 That's genius. I've always used resonant EQing on my tracks but never thought of it to be used in this way!

Holy balls, this is the first time I’ve clicked on a remake video and wasn’t sure if they played the original or just remade it that perfectly 😳
the resonance trick is insane.
Holy fuck today is the anniversary for this video.... I reject that time has changed

Oversampled is becoming like composerly
Oh yeah it's all coming together and I like it😎
I learn a bit more from oversampled than composerily, composerily is a bit too memey to gather useful info, as Peter goes so in depth and tells us exactly why the clock works, he shows us each gear and the entire piece.

INZO is another worth mentioning...
I think the biggest problem is the equalization of all these melodic layers, and the mix volume, because it's not easy at the beginning
