BMW E46 Headlight Restoration

Hello and welcome to the Spoolin Up channel.
In this video I decided to restore the headlights of my BMW E46 330ci as over time they have become very cloudy.
I purchased a cheap restoration kit online and using a drill I was able to restore the lenses back to an acceptable clear level. It was very easy and just requires a bit of patience, I hope you enjoy the video.

Nice improvement, hope it lasts. Have used kits like this before and even with the sealer, they'd start fading again after a year or so. Have redone them a few months ago and finished with 2K clear coat, hoping it's longer lasting.
Nice clear headlights really do so much for the overall look though, it's crazy!

I really hope it lasts but yes for now it's a lot better than it was. The sealer seems to be the same stuff you would use as trim restorer or tyre shine so I don't have a lot of faith. Next I will definitely be looking at a longer lasting finish but I think the lenses need to come off.

Hi, yes I still have the XR2, I just recently bought a house with a garage so I can keep it dry and safe. I'm in the process of sorting some bits out at the house so I can get it there and start getting the major bits sorted. Thanks for asking
