@@omadelipersonally, I’m glad capcom took a new direction with RE4. It not only changed their franchise but altered the expectations of horror games made after.
I also think that at least the other remakes (2 and 3) could be maintained, more or less faithful to the original survival horror, I can't like the originals 4 to 6 at all, the remake of 4 I didn't even try to play because of my rancidity
@@SHNHorror The requirement is completing the game with both characters on any difficulty other than easy. That unlocks "One Dangerous Zombie", aka grenade strapped Zombie Forest.

Would completely ruin it. OTS has been done to death, now generic trash. First Person would work if done correctly. Let’s be honest here - this is by far the greatest RE game ever made (next to the OG RE2) and doesn’t need touched again.
They should've actually remade the game. Kept original art and story or whatever but added a rotating camera and over the shoulder precision shooting. No more getting lucky with head shots. It's not like it would've took alot to do and the payoff woulda been there. Not to mention you could always add to it with DLCs if people want a little extra.

The non sensical running around gets to just be a grind after you have already played through it before. I think one reason the original RE4 on PS2 did so well was the perfect blend of action, survival and quick puzzles that didn't require alot of running back and forth. The boss fights were all kinda unique too.
