Railfanning On The BNSF Southern Transcon in Arizona Part 5 March 2024

We finish up the trip back at Yucca. Plenty of trains including fast westbounds racing downhill are seen. Arizona is one heck of a railroad state and I really enjoyed my time on the BNSF Transcon and UP Sunset Route. BNSF across Arizona runs around 70 trains a day and its a must see for any rail buff. Scenery is amazing, it follows Route 66 and its one of the few lines in North America not screwed by the PSR virus. Please ignore the wind noise, being in the high desert it was very windy on this day. Anyway, enjoy the video!

Train 64: Westbound BNSF intermodal train Q-ALTSBD heading for San Bernadino CA with a H2 Dash 9 and a gorgeous horn
Train 65: Eastbound BNSF intermodal Z-LACHI8-14A heading for Chicago IL with 4 engines
Train 66: Westbound BNSF hot intermodal train racing downhill passing the eastbound at 70 mph!
Train 67: Eastbound BNSF Stack train with yet another H2 leading
Train 68: Westbound BNSF hotshot Z intermodal train racing downhill at 70 mph
