Forcing them to choose between objective and soak is a great strategy for that map. I wasn't expecting you to be able to get good value out of Xul as a solo laner on Braxis.
Most bruisers can be pushed further than they seem just by playing to their strengths and to the enemies weaknesses. I was able to win my lane top vs Hanzo because my greatest strength is wave clear and his biggest weakness (for the first few levels) is wave clear
When the stars align W build is one of the best broken builds in the game. Hitting 4 or 5 melee heroes with a healing, slowing, and resetting W is just so fun
I really liked the way you described the fight for the first beacon against Hanzo. First you clearly stated Xul's strengths and weaknesses and then proceeded to utilize the first while avoiding the latter. Personally I like slowing Spectral scythe/skeletons on 16 as well as the mages ult. Both cause very annoying slow which will be reapplied again and again until its source have been given attention and it gives you slightly better odds at surviving the ganks.
I honestly like the slow at 16 a lot too. I probably should have taken it in this game aswell but hadn't played Xul in a long time and forgot which one was better lol
While I understand a proper build discussion makes sense at the end of the video, I keep wondering what improved at level up. A "Q hits harder now at lvl13" would help a lot. No need to explain WHY you chose it, just WHAT makes it easier to follow.
Ohhhh, I was misunderstanding you in other comments. I will try to do more of that!! I must say that I have already have a decent build up of videos made so it might take a little while until you'll see a differences
@@ThingWub no worries, I enjoy your videos and you keep getting even better! What to say while playing is very difficult. I do enjoy the in-depth analysis at the end for sure, but during the game I currently understand less if I don't already know the hero by heart.
making a xul video on a two lane map , come on man, just play ranked , the other team doesnt even have a bruiser its not a great guide because its just a random quick match situation

Xul W build was my go to build, esp. vs other AAs. It was basically "keep the entite enemy team slowed down all the time."
You also have Shade against AA's.

Oh my god the dance animation with the snake skin, you've convinced me. 🐍🐍🐍
BTW it's totally fine if you don't have opinion about hero skins, that's a valid opinion, but I knew you'd have some gems like this!
Oh don't worry, we shall have many more little treats to come haha
Can’t wait for the rest of the videos!
I got a bunch more coming!! You can always rewatch the ones that are already out!

Very educational, thanks!
Very informative video !
Glad it was helpful!!
Xul's wave clear is good, but his ability to shove a lane is unmatched.
21:36 "it reduces the cooldown of bone prism" talent says bone armor
rndpawz is beastly medivh.
That guys played awesome!! Definitely was helpful in our victory!
I wanna see d.va gameplay never seen any take on it
Unpopular opinion, but I love Dva!! I'll work on getting a video out for her soon
Nice dude! Could you do one for my big boy Ragnaros?
I actually just finished recording Rag last night! However I have like 5 other bruisers ahead of him. Maybe I'll move him up on the list, we shall see
@@ThingWub Oh nice, well don't feel obligated to move him forward on my account. I have patience!
good vid bruh
Good comment bruh!

Regardless that's how I would play Xul in every situation so I figured it was good to go!
