Awww I love Kingskerswell bells now I couldn't wait to listen to the rise ring and lower with the shaugh prior gang after the bells have been redone up here in Kingskerswell there lovely bells now but back then they won't very good
@@ryantrout6094 hi Ryan, am I right in thinking you don't ring particularly fast, just close? When you are called to the front you seem to cut in on the hand stroke, also is it a mith that you don't ring fully up? Also how often do you make a call. Oh and we love practicing this style
Hi Bob, we do tend to ring the bells a little quicker, so the bells are not as close to the balance as they would be during method ringing. Yes, we always cut in on our handstrokes. Our calls are usually made every other round and only a pair of bells change at any given time. Hope this helps, good luck 👍
@ryantrout6094 that's a pity you probably would have won looking at they way you all ring, I see you didxwin the local contest, well done to your band 👏
Love the multi colours on the ropes still yet to ring on one like that

Hi Ryan, as a non Devon style ringer we are practicing 60 on 3rds and wondered if you had any tips. We work on closed handshakes, and back. Bob
Hi Bob, what sort of tips are you looking for? I think it's great that others are looking at this and giving it a go.

Thanks Ryan, if I have any other questions I will give you a shout of that is OK? When is your next comp?
Next comp is 3rd June at Yealmpton and then the Devon 6 bell final at Denbury on 10th June.
Did you record buckland in the moor? Well done by the way.
We did, it wasn't brilliant, I think all the recordings are on the Association website.
@@ryantrout6094 ahh right
Hi Ryan, did your band enter the National call change competition in Mosely Birmingham on 3rd June?Bob
Hi Bob, we didn't, it fell the same day as a comp locally to me
