The best terms to use in Flesh and Blood to me are actually fighting game terms. Every hero in this game could be called "Aggro", but not every hero can be called "Rushdown". Calling Kano a Aggro deck or a Combo deck does not really tell me what that hero wants to do, but a "Setplay Zoner" tells me that Kano is kepping me at maximum range until he gets a setup, then he goes in when he has the advantage and suddenly kills you. Warrior as a class could be seen as a All-Around character like Ryu, ect.
That still doesn't say alot unless you know the ins and outs of FAB already which if you do already know you can see how Kano can be described as a combo deck. And not every hero can be called aggro it's the way the decks are built. A slow Briar list that runs lots of d reacts and stuff like wounded bull is definitely not aggro. What would you call Assassin then? Cos they definitely arent rushdown either they have 'mixups' but they generally play a slower poking style.
Nah this terminology is pretty universal amongst most card games even if it doesn't fit perfectly the idea of these different types of decks or concepts is almost always present in every game. It's just that each card game you yourself have to know what that means in the context of that game. Tempo for example just means being able to play cards with high value and not falling behind on value. That can mean anything depending on the game but the basic idea is the same. A term like 'Fatigue' which is a fab unique term is needed cos it's actually a unique concept with the pitched cards going back to the deck.
@@tcgmetaslayer4202Well all these concepts are present in Yugioh, hearthstone, digimon, one piece etc and are commonly used online. The terms may not be as important depending on the game but they do get used ive seen. Youre talking about just your playgroup here. Do whatever u want at ur locals but if a new fab player comes in that has played mtg before these terms are gonna still be useful.
I'd be keen to see some day 0 guardian deck techs from you, even if there are others available in the community. I'm most interested to see a generic illusionist. They're some of my favourite cards in the illusionist card pool, but cards like fractal replication and transmogrify dont really have a home.

Draconic runeblade 👀
My dude posted exactly when I needed to listen to fab theory
I think FaB needs its own terminology since these make more sense for MtG

I agree 100%
Arakni is a tempo-neutral value attrition fatigue deck with footsies, which could also be called midrange.
