I just submitted my scheduled date for the TEAS exam today. I'm nervous but only because I know how successful I can be:) I am praying it goes well!! I know the Lord already knows the plans he has set for me, amen. This is just the beginning

I want start my journey to become a rad tech but I don’t know where to start. I’m 19 years old almost 20. And I don’t know if as an immigrant i will be able to be a rad tech or Mri tech moreover when I don’t finish high school in USA.
Can you help me giving me some info 🥺?
Hey there! I know that most colleges do require you to have your HS diploma or GED, but I would sign up for your local community college or the nearest one with a Rad Tech program, and schedule an appointment to meet with an academic counselor (Preferably one that specializes in health science programs) he/ she will help you create a step-by-step education plan to accomplish those goals! College counselors help soo much! 😄

The school I go to it only takes 2 years for me to get a degree :)
Are you going to a private school aka trade school? That’s why! Community college requires prerequisites before applying to the program which can take 1-2 years to get.

I do! It’s pretty fast paced, and each day is different, but it’s a very rewarding field! 🤗

I went to a cc in Lancaster, California called AVC!
