Are you kidding me? He can shoot 3s, make assists, he has handles, post moves and can make blocks and steals. He has such a well rounded skillset for a big man it's basically unfair. If he can stay healthy and put on a bit more muscle it's actually scary how good he might get

I think what goes unnoticed by many is how good his hands are. Most tall guys with big hands cannot catch a ball to save their lives. This guy has tremendous hand eye coordination and catches everything his way.
Besides Basket ball, his mother (a former player then BB coach) asked he played soccer as a goalkeeper : he can read the ball curse very well and his arms are very fast both sides. Add the lengh of his fingers : when he holds a ball, it looks like an orange ;-)
The beginning of this season couldn't be going better for Wemby... He has been playing so good.

He’s really not though lol he is playing out of his mind in the 4th quarters which is even more impressive as a 19 year old rookie. But the rest of the game , he is shooting poorly and turning the ball over like crazy. Imagine when he irons those mistakes out!!

The best 19-year basketball player in the world. The sky is the limit if he can stay healthy. Great city (love SA), legendary coach, and an everyday support system (including from the legacy Spurs family -- the Ice Man, Duncan, the Admiral, Ginobli, Parker, etc).
In 4 games he had more highlights than Bol Bol entire career the biggest mistake Shaq did when he said his bullshit Wemby have a brain an ethic and an incredible ability to learn fast

We have to go back to Magic Johnson's Lakers to situate him athletically. We can compare him to Kareem or James Worthy. In terms of agility and height of play, he's on the level of Julius Erving or Wilt Chamberlain. It's vintage I know but, he's anachronistic! We haven't seen this in 50 years on an NBA floor.

the thing about victor is he is very athletic for his height. i've seen other tall guys enter the nba but, they were not fast enough or could not shoot. victor can take 1 step below free throw line and dunk from there alot of other big guys in the past could not do this.
