Unforgiven I: He is broken and angry at the damage done to him. Unforgiven II: He seeks understanding from someone else, someone who can show him love. But the damage done prior is causing him doubts. Unforgiven III: He realizes he's been causing damage to those who love him. He is the Unforgiven.
Outstanding job, guys. Let's take a quick look at the trilogy as a whole. Part 1- I can't forgive YOU. Part 2- I can't forgive HER. Part 3- I can't forgive MYSELF. He finally comes to the realization that he is (at least partially) to blame for his own life. Thanks again for doing this!
Thanks so much Chris! I'm glad you liked this series. Yeah, I totally agree with you. That's kind of what Ladi came to at the end of this as well. Without forgiving himself, he can't forgive anyone.
I see the first part as young James expressing all his anger and pain for his parents' mistakes that were echoing in his teens, the second part is the adult James trying to deal with this emotional hole in his life, the third part is when he takes stock of his life and realizes his own mistakes on his journey, when he was guided only by anger and hatred.
The first and the third are the most relatable to me. At first, you're trying to please everyone and follow what they're telling you to do, but that's just not a realistic way to live. In the third one, he comes to realize that he's hurt those around him with his selfishness and his seeking fame and fortune.
Metallica forever ❤
I understand perfectly, I was a bad husband about 20 years ago,my wife stayed with me, and I'm halfway crippled and I can't forgive what I've done period ,I feel as if it's my punishment from God and I deserve every bit of it,so I get the lyrics in all I can do is thank God because I deserve this hell I put my family through
Good news, Joe. There is no god. So, you did this to yourself and the punishment is the one you're doing to yourself. Only you can get yourself out. Good luck.

That song is one of my favorite in general, it’s amazing lyrics and music!!!!
Totally agree. But as I get older and keep listening to them, my favorite of the three keeps shifting.
The Unforgiven trilogy is my favorite songs of all time and universe. Thank You.
Thank you for watching! We're glad you enjoyed it. We hope you check out more of our content as well.
All three reactions are beautiful. Good job guys. :)
Thank you so much! I'm glad you liked this series.

This one speaks the most to me. How can I be lost... sad but true.
Thank you for these three great reactions and the many thoughts you shared.
Thanks so much Klaus. I'm goad you liked this series!
You should show him Fade to Black. He will cry 🙂
I'm sure Mark will put that on his "make Ladi cry" list.
I don't intentionally try to make him cry!
But yeah, Fade to Black is a good one.

Great job guys 👍

Let me be clear, the videos are sad videos, but hanging out with Mark is ALWAYS fun, even when he makes me sad.
You are a great guy and I enjoy the videos with you - whether you had fun or not ;-)
@@ThielKlenner Thanks for the compliment. I did have fun, sort of a sad fun, but still fun.
I don't want to make you sad! We watch happy stuff too!
Man you should reaaaaally get Ladi to react to this live acoustic version James did of "Mama said'
I already have that one on the list!
@@LikeMindedLunatics I'm glad ! Love to watch your reactions, seing people discovering Metallica for the first time is really a pleasure
