Then they slowly sped it up and I was flabbergasted. it goes faster? (warning sarcasm above) i actually designed and printed a few months ago. it was addicting to spin around. now im making another mechanism that uses them.
It is a means of turning linear motion into step motion. In this case to create a rest in the cycle to allow the stroke of another mechanism. Time-stepped advance.
