I don't want to belittle Romesh's tears attempt, but Frank was the highlight for me. He looked like a serial killer, singing and smiling while scooping other people's tears.
I have a couple friends who met Romesh at some event he did. Obviously his public persona would still be in play but apparently he did seem a lot quieter and more friendly than he usually is on stage, so I imagine it is played up at least a little bit
Oh man I can't wait for you to get through these seasons. It's a shame the seasons are so short to begin with. Think it goes from 6 to 5 in some series for some reason to 8 then and it's 10 episodes nowadays
Im just starting watching your reactions (love your reaction btw) for the series and not sure if it has been mentioned yet in further episode reactions, but there is very little script involved. The only scripted dialog is with greg and alex during inductions and certain jokes when they are in the studio. everything when they are doing the tasks and the contestants are talking in the studio is all completely genuine and that is one of the many reasons why i love this show.
I like Roisin bc I like seeing women be losers too. And I say this positively and out of love, as a woman myself. I support girl bosses AND girl failures. Go girl, give us nothing 🌸🌷🌺💐🌹🌻🥀🌼🪻🪷💕
Roisin is notoriously dumb. But SOME of it is her playing it up. It's hard to guess where the line is, because she's a decent actress. She's also often on 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown (a comedy quiz show) and gets called out a lot for not knowing spelling and math stuff. They basically have her on to mock her. BTW: Taskmaster is infamous for occasionally making only one person do a Task. Sometimes (but not always) just to screw with someone.
It always bothered me that they made the point system 'touching your head' and then put the two people that will naturally keep doing that in the same team.
The thing I like is always trying to work out what the loophole is before watching them do the task, and the extra counting tasks were just so funny, I do think Tim was robbed on the ice task though!
