I was born in 1984, and I grew up watching R-rated action movies like this. My parents didn't have a problem with it. I guess they figured, since these movies (Robocop, Aliens, The Terminator, Predator, Rambo, etc...) had their own toys, videogames, McDonalds Happy Meal collectibles, Halloween costumes, and even Saturday morning cartoons, then they can't be that bad, right?
