Ok, I understand what you're saying but I think the reason Thomas has turned a little from his "ideals" as you put it is because in order to throw that big of a battle every year he needs bigger sponsors and promoters. It's expensive to get that big of a place every year not to mention it now has way more qualifiers than it ever did, and that costs money. Money that's not going to show up outta thin air.
