I find your topics interesting but this one is really lacking internal logical consistency. Your theory is that Jesus was accusing the OT God (one you consider a separate entity) Yahweh of being a "liar, a thief and a killer." Utterly morally bankrupt. But...also claim that Jesus upheld and validated the moral laws given by the same Yahweh... You can't have this one both ways my friend. You've gone so far into the (shallowly understood or researched) opinion that the OT God was some kind of sadistic, genocidal monster and totally different from the NT God and then tried to retro-fit it into your ET theory that you've just completely lost the plot on multiple levels.

@nanoglitch6693 • I address this at the beginning of the video. The Gospel and NT writers were trying to do two seemingly incompatible things. Hence the confusion and tussle played out in the Gospels and NT regarding the place of the law. The whole of the book of Acts was written to resolve this question and symbolically harmonise Paul and Peter. By the writing of Galatians, Colossians2:14 etc, and the Jerusalem Council, the question had been resolved and the Christianity that emerged was not built on Yahwist law. These are matters of history. Health and Peace, Paul

And the Old Testament has logical consistency? Come on now, it is an immoral and incestous book full of gaps. Just the Adam and Eve, Cain and Abel story are illogical, with Cain being banished and sent off to another civilisation to continue breeding. Where did they come from? Anyone that takes the Old Testament as a literal piece of work, hasn't read it, or has been indoctrinated into filling the gaps. Read the book as it is written from start to finish. There is no logical continuity, full of deceit, lack of belief, IE Abraham, even though they supposedly had the benefit of God walking among them. How anyone in today's Age looks upon the book as a guide of morals is beyond belief. Another example would be Moses being ordered to destroy another tribe and then he is given the commandments. Sounds like a psychopath or cult leader with no regard for anyone but his own Hebrew tribe.

@@PaulWallisI totally agree with you. As I understand it, it's the primary point of this discussion. The dichotomy of views of the OT God and that of the NT and how Jesus explains it in the NT, but also why the writers are compelled to explain this conflict.

Yesterday morning I was walking my dogs in the park and I overheard a Park&Recs workering listening to Matthew LaCroix on his phone. I commented to him that the guy he was listening to is one of my favorites to listen to. We conversed for about 20 minutes and we the topic of the bible came up. I recommended him checking out Paul Wallis and explained how Paul started looking at areas in the bible that led him to look into the Hebrew bible and translations. I told him about the Eden series and how Paul has teamed up with Matthew on researching Turkey and the documentary. I also told him about Paul and Mauro discussing bible translations. His eyes lit up and he made a voice note for Paul's channel. He commented that people are actually worshipping the Devil and how we"ve all been trick. I recommeded he really check out the 5th Kind and he excitedly said he defenitely would. It's so good to see people interested in our true history, seeing through the lies of religion and waking up. Thank you Paul for all you are doing and sharing all your findings.👏👏👏👏👏🙏🙏🙏✌💜

I too have had similar conversations and have also recommended Paul's channels (5th kind and Paul's own channel).
Coming from an Anglican background and I too an Anglican in Australia, along with Paul's pleasant voice.... It's an easy sell.
Wip out your phone and open up his channel and just scroll ahead in literally any video clip and let them listen for 30seconds. Paul will have a new subscriber.
I have found when people have mentioned the deadsea scrolls is almost an opening for this topic of conversation 😉
It's almost your que. Isn't it great when you see someone's eyes light up when they see your interest in a subjects that they have an interest in?
Isn't it funny when someone comes to share and show you something and they end up learning something for themselves and you can see in their eyes that they are genuinely appreciative 👌
I think this is one of those moments. Well done and I am happy for you.
The next question you can pose is:
      Why does the apocrypha exist?
Who gets to decide what can and cannot be in the bible? No man should be able to exclude what was already included in the bible, yet that is exactly what has gone on because of the establishment of churches!
That's why we can see in the modern day true evil masqueraded by the church almost like an entrapment. The good of God never expects any participation in any materialistic establishment? In my opinion there's almost a contradiction in the concept of preaching? If we believe the 10 commandments as being the true words of God, then if we go to church and accept the teachings from someone else; then in essence we are worshipping a false deity? If we take it a step further and let the church allow it's self to control aspects of our lives that have agendas that are unholy or have motives outside of God, then you are literally disobeying Gods commandments!
If we took nothing but the 10 commandments and lived our entire lives by these notions only.....then that is sufficient for God and heaven. There is no punishment for rejecting church merely for resisting conditioning through modern teachings?
In my opinion knowing what I know now that I am more inclined to just seek out the most original Bible scriptures, like the Ethiopian Bible, then just reading that. No church influence. Just a direct connection to the source

Thank you, Paul! I have been ordained as a preacher for 34 years and studied the bible in depth even longer. @CommanderOfLight หลายเดือนก่อน +1

Correct :) It can be perceived many ways. God is infinity. God is the light (the light that exists within all things) and the dark, but not darknesss in the way we perceive it. Light is a spectrum of extremes, polarity, the masculine and feminine. "Darkness", or the feminine, should be referred to as dark light, the supreme feminine being the darkest dark, and the supreme masculine being the lightest light, and all hues of colour existing between the extremes.
That's why the light illuminates the "darkness", or "fills" a space/room. Not to sexualize it, but the way a man fills a woman, it works the same way. The masculine fills the feminine.

Yes Paul, here in the Philippines the belief in spirits, spirit guides, and the Diwata, Engkanto and Duwende is still very strong, despite hundreds of years of Roman Catholicism. My Filipina wife is a grandmother of six granddaughters and a grandson, and all the family is ostensibly Christian. However, she is Higaonon, and a baylan (shaman, healer, herbalist and masseur). The Higaonon people refer to Magbabaya, the source of everything that is. They believe that Magbabaya is in everything, and everyone. That there are spirits in the rocks, the trees, the rivers, the lakes, the oceans. Also, commonly there are spirits they call "mga tumanud", guardian spirits. These will guard a household, and may interact in various ways with one or more members of the household. As I'm Aussie, from Anglo-Irish ancestors, of course I am open to a belief in spirits. We have a tumanud in our house. Though I'm often here alone, I never feel alone. I've learned to respect everything, even things which are inanimate. My wife and I have not attended a church for six years now. She says, quite rightly, that the world is our church. I seem to remember Jesus saying something like that. To respect everything and everyone is also what Jesus would have those who hear his words do. Madakul hu salamat Paul ("Thank you, Paul" in Higaonon Binukid). Madakul hu salamat hu Magbabaya.

I find it interesting that Jesus lived during a time when anyone - including him - could have read the first 5 books called the Torah. This creates an element of deceit where an intelligent orator could exploit what was prophecied if one wanted to. Yet, all accounts indicate that Jesus wasn’t looking for gold or riches. In any event, we know that people later came together to form “the church” with king popes and all the glitz and glamour of control and power to indeed exploit all of it into riches. That’s undeniable fact.

I had been part of “Christian Apologetics” for 23 years. Very heavily studied on my own at home and apologizing publicly for the behavior of our old testament ruler that we all have referred to as God.
In February 2024 all things opened. A friend and I had recently a conversation about the order of events in the Genesis creation. Man first, then plants, plants first, then Man? I had read over the story of creation 100 times and his comment led me to go back and compare Genesis ch1, and ch 2 verses 1-4, with the rest of Genesis chapter 2. Two different creation accounts, different purposes and motives. That was the catalyst to see Jesus wasn’t yhwhs son. Wow, freedom ! I could go on and on, but thank you again for your channel.
I was blind, but now I see. Bless everyone watching for the first time, you are witnessing the biggest discovery of your life. And bless all that believe without seeing, that we are free in the light of the Master the Son of the Most High.

Paul. Here something that has long puzzled me. I too was long associated with the Anglican Church and pretty much believed all that I was told. Then I too started delving into the Old Testament. Now, I may not be the sharpest pencil in the box, but as I read more and more I came to realise that the 'Father' that Jesus spoke of bore no resemblance to the violent and rather unpleasant 'God' of the Old Testament. Really, I needed to go no further than Genesis Chapter 6 and 'the sons of the Gods.' How come I had never listened to a sermon explaining that? 2 Samuel Chapter 22. Is 'God' a dragon or an attack helicopter? So why have these obvious anomalies been ignored for so many centuries? I understand the clergy wanting to keep their jobs, but with so much hidden in plain sight (frankly not even hidden), I am astonished that all of this has not been questioned long before now. I did ask the local vicar if we could have a chat but she was strangely reluctant. Keep up the good work.

My wife and myself have watched most of your previous videos and I must say, this is your best to date far as the content addressing the deities of the scriptures; Christ teachings on them; among other scholars and theologian’s thoughts. I have been questioning these topics for decades now, and so glad to find some answers from you, Mauro and others that are like minded. I’ve read your books and others on many of these subjects and waiting for your next book to be available. The truth is there on other entities and world beings whether still here or from our outer cosmos. It will be a tough pill to swallow for many to change their thought on all this, because of the eons of deception and control through mistranslations. We all have been programmed. As I’ve said in previous comments before; keep up your work and may the Creator bless you on your journey.

You are a breath of fresh air. Thank you for your honest evaluations and experience. Ive always known and it doesnt take a genius to work out that the old testament gods are far too human like to actually be creator gods. More like human leaders of Empires. It is sad to watch so many of these self professed authorities on Biblical scripture warring it out on social media, turning against each other when someone disagrees, live streaming debates, confusing the heck out of the youth. I also recommend you at every opportunity as I cant find anyone else with a grasp of reality or ability to see beyond indoctrinated leanings. Thanks again. Love your work.

I loved the portion about whether or not the church is ready for this conversation, I agree that the answer is “No” but I believe the reason isn’t fear of truth, as it is loss of power. I remember growing up hearing that we are to “never question God” which usually meant, don’t ask the pastor that stuff cause he probably doesn’t know. I remember bringing up the God as Elohim or the Nephilim and bro g told those were “fringe topics that weren’t important”. I am curious if the church (using this term generically and broadly) hasn’t yet figured out how to continue to be the “one who hears from God” and also the ones who got this completely wrong. I empathize with those pastors who genuinely care about their people and are yet still growing in their understanding and aren’t ashamed or too prideful to say it.

Where she is from is a very remote, forest, there are only 540 people there now, another interesting thing there are 3 huge structures I want to say in the middle of the town, they look like tippies from the indigenous tribes, only made do solid stone, very well built and when I asked what they were for I was told they were for storing food, they had steel doors in front of them with and huge locks I asked if anyone of my family members had gone inside, they had not and they have lived there their entire lives, and no one had ever seen them give food out, when look at these structures it’s hard to believe they were built for that purpose

I needed this today, I’ve been in conflict with myself over wanting to set the foundations of spirituality within my children by going to church and paricipating in communion but I’ve also always been wary of these things. The Yahweh of the Bible and all these rituals like needing an intermediary between you and god when source is within all of us. But I am still in conflict although I do believe in being open and learning from the teachings of Jesus and other ascended masters. Source is love and unity and it is a good first step to plant the seeds in them of truth and inner wisdom and love while helping them learn to not be closed off like so many religious people are.

Unless you just shut up and don’t question/seek , you will come to where he is now. I am in that place , and I still love Jesus and call him Lord . And that is ok . Great job Paul ! @PaulWallis Before Jesus' time we had the Sumerian and Egyptian pantheons, Kush, Solomon, Homer & Hesiod and the Greek pantheon, Oracle of Delphi, Eleusinian mysteries (Demeter), Pre-Socratics, Pythagorus (as a proxy for Hermes Trismegistus), Druids of Britain, Tuatha de Danaan of Ireland and the Dal Riata founders of Scotland, Socrates, Plato, Aristotle, Stoics, Zoroastrianism (virgin birth etc.) and the evolution of the Roman Republic to the Empire. This was the history available to Jesus. In your experience, did he reference any of these outside of the old Jewish traditions? Did he travel to the druids in England, Wales and/or Scotland during his "lost years", considering that would have been a safe place outside of the Roman Empire at the time?
Another thing I find interesting is why Emperor Constantine was minting Mithraic coins, even after he had established the cross as the symbol of Christianity. It was almost as if he was pandering to the Mithraic cults under what is now the Vatican, as well as the newly strengthening church of Christianity. It's also super interesting that Bernini's collonades in St. Peter's Square form the vesica pisces, with the oldest known Egyptian obelisk rising like a phallic object slap-bang in the middle of the womb area. You can google web images for this very easily. Almost like the Vatican retains the vesica pisces as the symbol of Christianity, whilst forcing the cross on everyone else.

I am sure Jesus wouldn't want a cross to represent him
