So what do you compare? It’s reasonable to expect the quality of applications to drop as SUV gained popularity and attracted lots of inexperienced operators and simply crooks. Moreover, the IRCC requirements changed recently. It requires founders to demonstrate a business progress and a full scale development. You should compare apples to apples and find the stats about the approval rate for well developed businesses meeting the IRCC requirements. Without that your information and presentation is useless at best and misleading and discouraging generally speaking.
