I would like anyone who knew Paul to know that I had never even heard of Paul or PIH before he passed, but even now he's inspiring people, and in this case specifically me. I first learned about Paul and PIH like many through John and Hank Green. Unfortunately the first video I saw was John's memorial video to Paul, but it led me down a TH-cam rabbit hole and I must have listened to Paul speak for hours, sometimes on topics I could barely even grasp. I just want someone to know that he's still helping people.
If only the more people had such compassion for all of God's people & not just those that look a certain way, have a certain amount of money, live in a certain place, etc., etc., etc.! We should all strive to be the hands & feet of Jesus to the world & I think God did a wonderful & amazing job through the hands & feet of Dr. Paul Edward Farmer. What a Blessing it was to meet him & to serve with PIH.
This is so lovely... His life mattered. I watched 10 videos of him - what a lovely angel, exemplary human being! Personality reminds me of my late husband.
I went to the same high school as Paul Farmer, and met him briefly as "Paul Farmer, brother of Katy Farmer." And that's all I ever knew about him until now. Wow -- what an extraordinary life he lived! RIP, Paul!
