Wow, that pack out storage with the bar is real slick! I’ve watched dozens of trailer set up videos, I’ve begun to start skipping anything “Paulk inspired “ cause there is not much impressive but this. You took this concept and really made it yours. Great job!
Thank you, I didn't want to go the viewtainer route and that's what I came up with. I am really happy with the pack out storage. it is really working well. I haven't found any issues with its function yet and knock on wood I would build it again the same way.
Very nice set up, I have looked at a lot of these videos over the last few months getting ideas for setting up the 5th generation trailer we ordered last year. Yours is by far the best I've seen, I can tell you are a true craftsman, well done.
Keep the videos coming...updates on trailer as well as the work you produce out of it. You must do really high quality work by the looks of the quality of your trailer build.
Nice setup.. and you have some really good tools in there to say the least! Im about to buy a trailer and build it out... thank you for the good example!
No sense in me commenting this three years later. But that blank space on the wall looks like the perfect spot for a first aid kit, eye wash station, and fire extinguisher. You can also consider mounting tubs of blue rags and wet wipes.
BEST construction trailer design and build yet! The motion detector ceiling LEDs are genius! Do you mind me asking who makes the led lights? Thank you!
Wow nice build out! I’ve watched a bunch of these videos getting ideas for my new 8x16 i’m a little bit apprehensive though because I’m a framing contractor lol.
Great job on the trailer build out and subsequent organization! I am hoping to purchase and build out my second Paulk-inspired trailer and will incorporate some of your ideas. Thanks. Hope 2021 goes well for you.
What i always wondered is how you guys manage to pull these trailers everyday through crowed cities and tight job sites , I've always wanted a trailer but i feel like it would be a nightmare to Maneuver the thing all the time
Very nicely done & very efficient looking to work out of! Where did you get the different bins you have in the first three drawers you opened? Like the different size white ones.
Absolutely beautiful! I always wanted something like that, but yeah, it never happened. Good ol' milk crates and shelving. Can't help to wonder how long it'll take before it looks like the garage? Little bit about human psychology. Why is it that the *ONLY* brand name power tool that is verbalized is Festool?????
fair point but the garage is mostly messy because I moved then immediately started building the tool trailer without setting any organization up in the garage first. In hindsight I should have setup the garage more. It would have cut down on my build time and lost sanity.
The plans are made by Ron Paulk. check out his stuff on TH-cam. He sells the trailer plans I modified them to fit my needs from there. the isle is 35" wide. I roughly have about 20 sheets of 3/4" and 20 sheets of 1/2" into it. it might be a couple sheets less than that.
@@AsaBlazecongrats on the trailer and plans. an exciting project ahead for you. the insulation is just a cheap foil faced iso foam from the big box store. Its just pressure fit in the walls and ceiling in-between the joists. then I went over the ceiling again covering over the aluminum joists with a layer of 1/2". Its held up with spray adhesive and the wood strips I mounted my lights to. I would use more spray adhesive and or another row of wood strips if I did it again. I noticed yesterday the 1/2" layer is sagging in one spot. Others wise all is working great.
I bought plans from Ron Paulk and then just made a few modifications to fit my needs. it is based off "ART-awesome rolling tool box". stores.modularmarket.com/paulk_homes/index.php
The ramp is nice and simple but it only works one way and needs 6.5' to 7' behind the trailer to open it. I like the versatility of the rear doors.I only need 4'. I can open them and get in and get what I need and close them up. If I want more flat room behind the trailer I can fold them 180 degrees so they are on the sides of the trailer and completely out of the way leaving me more flat round outside to work. When I am standing on the ground and accessing the drawers, level and track storage at the back of the trailer it is at a comfortable height. if I had the ramp I would need to bend over more. all in all not a huge deal but nice. In the end either will work. you just have to decide which will work BEST for you.
when I purchased all the plywood it was around 2000-2200lbs. figure I lost a little with cut offs and waste but not much. my scrap pile was very small. Then add the tools I am right at my 5000 payload weight right now. Add the trailer weight of 2K for a total of 7k GVW
Amazing job, I love the bar you raise to release the screw cases… I thing you’ve actually raised the bar!
Ron Paulk has become the Carroll Shelby of custom contractor trailer design...and this one is a beautiful example...
One of the nicest and we'll organized trailer that I have seen.
Very impressive. The best Smart Workshop I have seen. Strong work!

thank you for the compliment. Good luck on your new trailer.
nice job! definitely have a little bit of everything. I switched to Velcro strapping instead of bungees to hold things.
Wow Really nice job on your trailer. One of the best ones on TH-cam.
Thank you, I really appreciate that.
Awesome! Beautiful build!
REALLY nice job..NOW I want your setup

Glad you like them!
Wow! That’s very impressive
Outstanding trailer. The more videos the better.
More videos please! Great use of space and creativity!
What are some things you want to see more videos on?

Great job on the trailer build!! Always satisfying to finish up a trailer build! I subbed!
Yes, its very satisfying indeed! Thank you,

Great video. About to build one and this game me a lot of ideas.
Thank you. They are a lot of work but well worth it and Fun to build. its not often you get a chance to make something you will use so much.

Thanks for sharing, I'm working/planning on outfitting my trailer soon and this is great for ideas.
Thank you, Good luck with your build out
Very nice setup!
Thank you. Than you for all of the content you have posted. It has helped a lot in building my trailer.
awesome job

Love it!
Nice job.
Hey try putting some car wax on your drawer runners. 😎
Anyway I could get some close up pics of the trowel caddy? Great job man
Awesome job!
Thanks!

Great Tool Trailer - what size is it?
Good job!
Thanks!
Pretty nice!😉
Thanks! 😄
Good job Chris. Your hubby inspired a lot of us.🎉😊
What plywood did you use?
Very nice!
Thanks!
Very nice.... What size trailer? What is the clearance for aisle in the middle? Thanks.
8x16
yes, as Chris said it is an 8x16 plus the V nose which is another 3'-8" if I remember correctly
Very nicely done & very efficient looking to work out of! Where did you get the different bins you have in the first three drawers you opened? Like the different size white ones.
Amazon. I think I just searched drawer organizers
did you make all the shelving for this trailer and nice set up
Yes I did
yes I made all of it, Thanks
Absolutely beautiful!

do you like the rear door vs a ramp on your trailer?

How are you recording and it shows on your phone
Go pro and Go pro app
did you use 1/2 plywood for the cabinet frames and 3/8 for the drawers?
frames are mostly 3/4". drawers are 1/2"
What kind of weight do think this added to the trailer?
