Nice job there Darren (and Stuart). The Ridgeway is definitely one of the easier National Trails, and full of history. Thanks for sharing guys. Cheers Bob
Well made and well done lads. No burble, lots of interesting footage, well edited - you really give a sense of how the walk is to do. Would like to do the second half methinks
Nice one Darren. I lived in Tring as a kid . Later as an adult I delivered cigarettes to pubs all along the ridgeway area. Lovely countryside ....... crap job. Your video has bought back memories ....thanks.
Nice info in the video going to be doing the same in the next few months at some point. Good to see lots of hammock spots and lots of places to get food. Would be interested to know how far you walked with going into towns for pubs and stuff? Good watch subed
Thanks 🙏👍 That's the only downside to the trail, having to walk the odd extra mile or two downhill into villages for pub meals / supplies. I had pubs / shops book marked on the app Maps.me. Quality app, use it to plan every route
@@darrencurtisuk I did have a little look at that app but it didn't seem to have the trails that os maps have. Or do you have to pay for that? Maybe I sould test it in the field first
Great videos as always Darren and Stuart. You are linking up a few king distance routes here (as I am sure you know). Is there a route from your start of the Ridgeway down to Dorset/Hampshire?
Great coverage loved the videos looking forward to more videos today keep them coming 👍👍
More to come!
Excellent. Thanks for sharing. Take care
Thank you very much

There’s a classic comedy duo brewing in there somewhere. Another excellent series of videos Darren.
Yep, Mr Brown is nearly ready to take to the reigns
I think Brownie threw a wobbly at the end. I start mine, taking 6 days though, in July 2024
Ah, great series Darren, and Mr Brown! Look forward to the next one lads.🙌

Hi mate, yes there is. Eyeing it up for next year. Just involves more travelling. But be rude not to complete the whole thing!
Well done 👍 . Personally prefer mountains and lakes, but you can’t beat the English rolling country side👌
👍🏼
Where’s Stuart’s pack, can’t see it towards the end?
He stashed it in his car near the end!
@@darrencurtisuk Ah ok, I just noticed it wasn’t there.
So, where’s next mate?
