(Different county) As i have previously commented, I also am working with my service dog on alerts and the paracord bracelets help him have something to focus on for the alert. I am also going to make something so he can get my Glucometer and my medicine. The medicine one has to be a design that will keep him safe so he doesn’t break the bottle and access the medicine. go to his product web site, in the search bar type in "marines", he has a cord in the marine colors. if you prefer solid colors you will have to purchase from a different company, as he does not carry them. The colors are scarlet and gold.
I just made this using the the same cords 550. I used the .5in/12mm buckle cause that's what I prefer but you could go bigger as longs as its comfortable and snug with the paracord. If you are making this for a girl or kid a 325 cord would be nice since its less bulky.

I did a breast cancer awareness one for my girlfriend, it was pink and white. I made one for St Patrick's day, it was gold then I laid orange, white, and green for Irish flag. I just have fun lol.
I like the pattern, but it would have been good to have at least three sets of knots shown. One is not enough especially because it was the very first cast on. The other is that your fingers are in the way too often.
paracod is called survival cord for a reason it wouldn't wear out although i wouldn't use it for tying anything it tends to untie itself quite frequently.
