I remember Beverlee from Another World . She played Iris I forgot the last name !! 1 of my favorite soap opera I miss it alot 💭🗯️💭 soap bubbles . **********!!!!!!!!!! 🤟🧡👏
I swear THIS may be the greatest theme music for a show of all time! It literally chokes me up!!! It reminds me of when my grandma would babysit me during the summer and I’d have to watch GL. Mind you I was only about 8 years old. I ended up watching until the last episode. Although the last few years were not so great. These people/characters felt like family then and still do.
Technically, this isn't Beverlee McKinsey's first appearance as Alexandra Spaulding ... a couple of weeks before she makes her Springfield debut at the masquerade ball, Alexandra is seen from the back talking to her brother on the phone ... we only see the back of her head, but that champagne-on-ice voice is unmistakable. After hanging up, she said something to herself that gave hint that there was going to be more to her visit than just a simple family reunion (I forget what the line was).
You got to give guiding light credit it held its own preety high in the ratings despite the fact everyone in america was watching its competitor general hospitol .and altho i never really watched this is prob the best soap theme of all of them!!!
Beverlee McKinsey was The Queen of Soaps, excellent on Another World, Texas, Guiding Light. She was a legend an Icon, irreplaceable.
Loved this. I remember watching this. Beverlee was the only Alexandra.

This theme in particular gets me too. I used to spend summers at my grandmas .
Great quality video.. I remember seeing this...
Hearing this theme song nearly brings tears to my eyes every time.

Vanessa...love her..."How peculiar! I'd fly almost anywhere to get away from him." Exit stage left. LOL
She was so easily flustered, not the cool, collected 'Nessa I know from later on.

The cast was amazing during this time.
It looks like Nola is wearing Cinderella's pumpkin carriage.
Interesting that Beverlee McKinsey’s Alexandra’s first and last scenes on the show were with Vanessa.
Oooh. Good catch. Also, she's unbearably skinny in this scene.
I like to call this episode "Enter The Baroness".
Alexandra looked liked a Super Hero " The Baroness"
What the hell is Nola wearing?
It's hard to believe the actor who played Alan died in real life @ age 49 He always looked much older to me when he was on the show
Chris Bernau had AIDS while he was on GL, that's what made him look older
The only GL theme song
Who was with Ross? Trish?
Yes
@@baconbap Fortunately, I'm patient. :)
