Got to say I'm epileptic and can't watch House of the Dead 1 videos, but this modded version doesn't have the whole screen flashing when you shoot. The bullet flashes aren't flashy enough to cause me harm personally so I'm glad I can watch the first game here 🙂

When I was younger I couldn't get past the first 3-4 sequences because the guns at my arcade are always malfunctioning. Last weekend I ended up in an arcade with UNLI lives and with a FULLY FUNCTIONING GUN. I finished the game and I can now finally die in peace, hahaha
Almost 30 years since development and the moves of the magician are so much better than the remake. It's so sad
I personally cut them some slack as apparently Sega no longer has the source code for the game so they had to remake it from scratch
I remember wrecking my mouse playing this on pc when I was little.
I'm not going to lie in the remastered version Rogan didn't sound as concerned for Sophie as this Rogan did

Did you emulate this or are you playing it from the actual arcade machine? I just got my hands on the arcade machine myself and was wondering if there was a way of capturing it on my PC.

They simply drained the boss' health way faster than expected lol. I imagine the script event to trigger the last phase of that fight was time based.
