Some quick advice: Add a Greninja counter in the GBL (I use a Breloom with Counter & Grass Knot. No second move because it’s not really needed.) It destroys Greninja, and since everybody’s using it, it basically guarantees a few free wins.
My games are even faster atm. I tap my screen and nothing happens, then the game catches up and I lost another game. The lag is unreal in GBL at the moment.

Bro ariados is so good because bug and poison hit dark, psychic, ground, grass and fairy for super effective and moveset is same conceptually as Gfisk of fast move energy, then you have spam and nuke, but ariados charges slightly faster than Gfisk and cross poison has attack boost chance. It’s a niche pick but one that really can do great vs teams because nobody expects a Pokémon with worst two types in Pokémon to be such good anti meta, and then with scrafty lead or Gfisk you can make a good team
RNG assumes it's random chance, POGO is not random chance. POGO certainly has an algorithm based on team comp and move set. You can test this for yourself. RNG is like random% chance of x thing during x encounter for example. But POGO seems to work based off what moves you are running, the lead and position on the leaderboard to to speak. Try it, pick your favorite team, play 25 battles, jot down what teams you faced, pick the same team, but change the move set of the lead Pokémon to another move set you like, 25 games. The opponents team comps and move sets will change. Now, change the move set back and take the Pokémon you has on the lead and swap for another of the same team for the lead. Again, Team comps will switch up again, 25 games. Then, change your team completely to a new team and play 25 games. You will see that the team comps are entirely different and now you're encounter stuff that you didn't exactly before that hard wall your new team but wouldn't have hard wall'ed your old one. Their algorithm responds to your choice of team and moves to try to give the most fair match up or useful matchup if it can find it. A hydro pump Azu lead for example will find more things it can use Hydro pump on even if you didn't see any using a non-Hydro Azu on the lead. It's not RNG.
