The base game and reaper of souls are worth it. The game has so much replayabilaty and is updated often with new gear and seasonal challenges. As for PVP I don't think there is any, not that I've found anyway.
So crazy to see all the comments from newbies to this game. I come back to it once every couple of years to play a seasonal character and get my fix. I'm addicted to the DH gameplay. It's such a classic game... will be fun forever if you're the type of person who likes looters - this is all bout the loot and creating builds by choosing skills based on what gear you get to drop. P.S. the gameplay in this video is what happens when you play at too low of a difficulty level.
It's not a low difficulty level gameplay - eventually all T16 Nephalem rift and Bounty runs will look that way (as soon as Your paragon is 800+). GR 110+ will do look different however :).
just bought this game with all dlc yesterday and started today with a buddy and love it but have no idea what the hell I'm doing lol hes just running me through everything and leveling me up dude gave me 11 billion gold too fning awesome lol

What skills are you running on your Demon Hunter? I understand the quick movement and the constant arrow spam, but my red meter depletes so quickly that I can't use it for more than 10 seconds unless I use the ability that insta-replenishes half of it.

Thanks for subscribing. I did manage to get the platinum trophy, It didn't take to long to get it and wasn't to difficult. There's a few trophies that are time consuming but It's a very fun game to go for the platinum trophy in.

Is it just me or did this game feel way easier it should be. I hadn’t played a Diablo game before so I started on normal and didn’t die the entire play-through. Even the bosses were easy, not a single one took more than ten seconds to kill. Let me know if this is most people’s experience with the game.
That's probably because you played on the easiest difficulty when there's like 20 difficulty levels that scale enemy damage/health and increase your gold/exp/loot rarity. Hence, you're incentivized to play at the highest difficulty you can manage. Like you, I just started playing it for the first time, except I started Campaign on Master difficulty (4/20 difficulty) and ended at Torment 3 (7/20 difficulty, Torment difficulties unlock when you hit lvl 70). So as you can see, there's a lot more difficulty to conquer without even mentioning how Adventure Mode is really where the meat of the game lies.
What a silly lie, I'm sure math could be used to completely disprove your claims about the bosses. This is the internet, who do you think you're trying to impress, and do you think would be?

Your welcome. In terms of speed I'd suggest demon hunter, they have a dash ability that helps escape large groups and the wizard has a teleport that is very useful for escaping groups and closing the distance fast.
What's your Paragon level? The higher your Paragon level the higher the Torment you can play on. Also are you using any set gear? The bonuses from set gear can help on higher difficulties. And have you found Kanai's cube? With that you can break down legendary items and equip three of them as passives which will also help the higher your torment. So it all comes down to having some good set gear for your class, a high paragon level and having the right passives from Kanai's cube.

I still don't understand that last part about breaking down legendaries for Kanais Cube to have those passive that sounds interesting. Right now I can push rift 8 since I geared my wizard up more today but there still a lot to figure like all of kana cube details how to properly allocate my paragon points, gear socketing etc.
Okay so you need to find Kanai's cube. Speak with Zoltan Kulle in adventure mode, he'll be in any hub/town and he'll give you the quest to find Kanai's cube. The cube is in act 3 in the ruins of Sesheron. Just explore that entire area until you've found the cube and then take it back to Zoltan Kulle and then you'll have access to the cube and you'll be able to break down legendary items and more. But in order to get the resources to break down legendary items l you'll need to do all bounties in all acts, as doing so will get Tyrael to give you a lootbox with rare resources and gear for each act you complete in bounties. Your Paragon level and gear are pretty good though.

Danetta's Revenge 2 set weapon piece, Unhollowed Essence 6 set Armor piece. And the powers from Kanai's cube are K'Mar Tenclip, Mantle of Channelling and the ring of royal grandeur.
Its a rune for Archon mode also With the Vyr's Amazing Arcana set having two of the six pieces from that set gives your Archon the effect of every rune meaning slow time will follow you.

Which character class can speed thru the rifts the quickest? Looking at the examples here and from my watching others as I'm playing, it looks like the demon hunter with whatever the spinning and 360° of ranged attacks would get thru rifts the quickest. I've never played as one since my only lvl 70 chars are the monk and wizard. I thought with the monk being a quick attack build it would be quicker but I am let down about my build. I've only played for a couple months but I haven't played any game where anyone was a barb, witch doctor or paladin.
It all depends on which build your running because all classes have the potential to speed through rifts. The builds that i can rememeber using that can speed through rifts are, 1. The wrath of the wastes set for the barbarian. 2. Mundunugu's Regalia set for the witch doctor. 3. The gears of the Dead lands set for the Demon Hunter. 4. Vyr's Amazing Arcana set for the wizard. I've made videos on each of these builds so hopefully they could help you find a build that's rights for you.
Once you reach level 70 basically all challenge is gone in this game. Yes you can put on higher difficulty but then still it doesnt increase difficulty, it just makes it so that enemies do you way more damage.
Gwen g Not the correct way though. Enemies aren’t smarter. Take for example Hitman. If you put them on higher difficulty they will detect you easier, they will take smarter paths. Maybe even more enemies With this game they just deal you more damage. And. That’s it
They are two different games with different fanbases, classes and such. I'd say, play D3 now and if You enjoy it, get D2remastered when it comes out. I mostly play seasonal D3 trying different classes and getting better at understanding the small details of this game.

For yourself I'd recommend demon hunter or wizard and for your wife I'd recommend barbarian.

Once you reach level 70 basically all challenge is gone in this game. Yes you can put on higher difficulty but then still it doesnt increase difficulty, it just makes it so that enemies do you way more damage.
Gwen g Not the correct way though. Enemies aren’t smarter. Take for example Hitman. If you put them on higher difficulty they will detect you easier, they will take smarter paths. Maybe even more enemies
With this game they just deal you more damage. And. That’s it

They are two different games with different fanbases, classes and such. I'd say, play D3 now and if You enjoy it, get D2remastered when it comes out. I mostly play seasonal D3 trying different classes and getting better at understanding the small details of this game.

Wow, that's an awesome deal and I am glad to hear You are enjoying D3 :) Just please dont make the mistake that I did (and a few others, lol) - dont start with playing the campaign (which is kinda mediocre story wise to say it mildly) - jump straight into seasonal online play and find a group You are comfortable with playing!

It's a passive from Kanai's cube that you get when breaking down iron Rose. It causes siphon blood to have a 100% chance to cast a blood nova.

For a person who's just starting Diablo 3, what class do you all think I should start with? I personally like the look of Necromancer gameplay but in all other games I've played the Necromancers are the hardest characters to get the hang of
I started with the wizard, they have lots of ranged attacks, powerful AOE attacks and quite a few defensive spells that come in handy.

Idk too I just played the game on ps3. I dusted my ps3 slim and try this game my friend give it to me the one with ultimate evil/reaper of souls. I want that necromancer btw I'm just level 17.
This is the 'ultimate evil edition' on ps4 which comes with the dlc, including the necromancer class.
