Holy crap, I didn't know that Cyberpunk deck/book had a 5E compatible component! OMG! I am so gutted I missed the Kickstarter for this. It is very firmly on my wishlist now! Haha, I can relate to the love of pink and sparkly but also the dark and creepy (I always joke that I'm goth on the outside but cut me open and I bleed rainbows and sparkles). We can contain mulitudes...or something. This was such a fun look at your tarot book collection. x
Yes it's so fun with the D&D component! You can feel the influence of it all through the deck too, the world building is so well done. Bleeding rainbows is a great way to put it, I am an all-black-and-functional kind of person with the exception of my nails which I try to make aggressively sparkly 😂
This video has sent me on a deepdive, I love it haha. As someone working within the mental health field, the tarot for transformation book seems amazing
Tarot for Change by Jessica Dore is my all time favorite tarot reference. The author looks at the cards through a mental health lens, and with a secular, self-growth focus. I can't say enough good things about it!
Ooh yay join in! It will be very low-key but I'm going to be doing a couple of videos about it and make it a challenge of sorts so anyone who wants to join can keep me company with the pips 🥰
I think I might’ve said this before, but having these videos to watch over Saturday breakfast times has been such a treat! Thanks for taking the time to film and edit these beautiful beasts!
@@TarotMagpie I also recommend! It's a good entry point with minimum esoterics, and later on you can build on that with the deeper esoterics if you want, but it's not necessary to do that, if you do not want.
I keep hearing about a need to make Thoth more approachable. I gotta do something about this. 😊 in the meantime, I think The Tarot Handbook by Angeles Arrien is the best Thoth book.
I have the Lon Milo DuQuette book. Took me over a week of reading to get to the card section. But I'm excited to go through the cards with this book now!
Seventy eight degree of wisdom is such an enjoyable read! I put off reading it for ages because I thought it might be dry or dated but it’s really not! I’m only up to the magician but I’ve learnt so much already. It definitely lives up to the hype. I hope you enjoy it!
Also she is sitting in the night and Theas tarot are my two favourite ever tarot resources. Theas tarot reads like a dream, it’s my soul deck, and the book is such a beautiful compliment to it.
Thea's is very firmly on my wishlist, I know there is a reprint available at the moment which I should probably jump on while I can! It's so good to hear that 78 degrees lives up to the hype 🥰
@@TarotMagpie I got mine from little red tarot a few years ago now and it’s been fairly consistently in stock since but I don’t know if that’s going to be a forever thing so definitely worth getting it sooner rather than later! It’s such a wonderful intuitive deck - I’m sure you’ll love it!
456,456 different possibilities in a 3 card spread, of course, different questions, situations and interpretations can run that number into the billions. Found this online. Will check the math later. ❤

Tarot for Transformation is so good! The author is a therapist herself

I haven't heard much about that book but I will check it out, thanks for recommendation 🥰
Dreya Blume books are so fire and slept on!
So good!
"Marseille May" is a really good idea! Hmmm... I may consider doing a Marseille May study!

That is soo nice to hear 🥰 They have indeed been beasts, but it was fun to go through everything! 💖
I also love a bibliography and have spent too much money in academia! 💜 Lovely book collection.
Once you've learned to look for references, it's impossible to un-learn! Thanks for watching 💖
Mirror of the Soul for first Thoth Book !
Oh I've heard good things about that one before but forgot about it! Thank you x

Ooh intrigued to see what you might come up with 👀 thanks for the book recommendation! 💖

Hey that was my first tarot book too!!
We match! It's a good one for beginners 🥰

That would be a very big book 😅
