Overall, they have bad QC policies in place. They turn out a high rate of lemons. Yes, there are some people that have had success with Taurus guns, but as a former owner, I can tell you that it is too much of a gamble buying from them. Countless people here can tell you that along with everyone else on other forums. If a Taurus is somehow all you can get and all you can afford then, okay, a Taurus is better than no gun, but I'd steer clear of them.
It's worth it. And surprisingly great at rapid fire. Range down town has one on their rental lineup. Check your local ranges. Once you run it, you'll want one even more. Wife also says that it is her favorite last time she went there to shoot.
I'm a huge Smith and Wesson fan but gotta say tye csx is terrible. Might feel good but reliability is more important. But I agree, the m&p shield or shield plus should be on here. I have a 365xl and changed grip mods 4 times before settling with the icarus precision hybrid pro. AND, it's it's the snappiest micro 9. With a pmm comp and barrel it's pretty comfortable now.
You should try holding the beretta cheetah 80x. I’m the same as you with the 365 and the cheetah felt great in hand. Hard to justify the price and the 380 caliber/capacity though

@herculesrichardsonjr3572 The front sight fell off on the 2nd shooting session. U can screw it back or install new night sights anyways. I got it for $250 at a gunshow. I didnt need it because i have p365 already. Bought it anyways because it was cheap. Lol. Great gun for the price. No problems at all
Uh...I am never going to knock someone's opinion if that is what you like but I did NOT like the CSX, the Shield Plus should be #1, Mossberg MC2C or MC2SC, then I don't know I would throw a shadow system on this list with others around $500-700. Can't argue the Sig, Hellcat wouldn't be on my list, Taurus isn't bad, I'd take a Canik MC9, Sig 365 and Kimber Mako OR Glock 26 gen 5 with extension to round out my top 5

Agreed, Love Smith but Shield all day over the CSX, I wanted it to be great but Shield is way better to me with a 13+1 and 15 mag is how I carry. Also agree with mossberg.
@@AlxAlvrit’s 10 & 13, but if you buy a shield plus, you can buy the 15 rd equalizer magazine that has some extra grip on it, and it fits flush into the shield plus. Tbh, the shield plus was too small with the 13rd mag, the 15 rd mags made it just perfect for me, and is one of the biggest reasons why I bought it. For the mag compatibility

I was stuck between getting the g43 and the shield plus, both had the same problem with my pinky not being comfortable on em, but the 15 rd mag fixed that. the only real draw back about the shield plus actually has nothing to do with the gun, but the boxing, but that’s more of a brand problem. Smith makes the shittiest gun boxes, just straight cardboard 🤮

I have only shot 3 MICROs a 380 totally sucked a SS 5 shot Charter Arms 38 100% good to go & a Ruger plastic 38 , I like the Charter Arms better . For me a SIG M11-A1 / P229 3.9" or a G19 is as small as I will go I like the SIG BETTER that would include P228 & P239 Both are 100%
Hellcat should be #1 The first gun has a horrible reset and the Taurus G4 has recall issues if you drop the gun, I will shoot! The Springfield has no issues at all !
so if 1.125+" thick double stackers are called 'micro' then what would one call truly small single stack 9's? The EC9 and DB9 make those things look really thick.
I Carry a Taurus g2c mainly because I'm comfortable with it it's similar in size to a sig p365 which is what I started shootin except the big difference my Taurus hasn't been a lemon to the point I got rid of it for its problem like I did the sig I have a friend with the same model p365 and his runs flawlessly like my g2c does for me

I CARRIED A Glock43 for all duties. I didn't take training seriously due to how small uncomfortable the firearm is. Also it suck far as 6 plus 1 for home defense. It was harsh to shoot and control the recoil. I realized I need a larger firearm due to better control of recoil and ammo conpacity. I knew I need a Firearm that could use a red-dot and light combo. I knew I wanted something that could hold more than a Glock 17 without base plate factor only.
I just bought the GX4 last week. I have a glock. honestly? idk which I like better. glock I'd say shoots a little better. longer barrel. but the gx4 I'd say is more comfortable in the hand.
Csx 1st taurus is my number 1 i was only suprised to not see it in 1st i have many 9mms and gx4 i love and my convinced with is is unmatched i need to check out he csx
@@antoniotula262 I've had a bunch of different pocket pistols and that browning is by far my favorite and I can drill targets in a nice group at 60 yards to point blank. Nice factory trigger, there is a guy on ebay that makes some sweet grip tape grips. (No one made grips for it when it came out)
Nobody likes single stacks anymore but I love the grip feel on my Kahr PM9. I'll take the drop in capacity for the better concealment and comfort level I get out of a Kahr handgun. It feels right to me.

I thought about that, but I wanted to give them a shot with the extended mags first. It'd be interesting to find out how many people actually get these and carry with the flush fit vs. how many carry the extended mag included with the guns. Good poll idea!

It has a much better trigger than the csx. The csx could be such a great gun, there need to be some tweeks made to it first.

I have it and tested all the micro grips for this video. It wasn't as comfortable a grip as these 5. Results may vary however

That CSX is a garbage gun. I’ve never had a beavertail try to beat up my hand like that one does after 100 rounds. Ergonomic, it isn’t.

That Browning would be ideal in a scale Officer 1911 size. for carrying.
