I was already in the middle of playing Geometry Dash when my brother ran down and yelled at me "2.2 IS OUT! CHECK STEAM!" So I had to quit playing and sit there for 5 minutes, waiting for the game to finish updating. But the wait was worth it, I beat Dash in 5 minutes.
I found out about the update not even 5 mins after it was released (australian, it came out in the middle of the day), went to check discord and it started lagging, i had it open on the GD server, everyone was spamming 2.2 is out so went to check my computer (i was literally about to do more artificial ascent practice) and found GD on my download list, i dont think ive been happier, literally cried in happiness
Looks like imma need to cash in if I wanna play gd 2.2 in mobile. I bought the game on steam but I also wanna play it on mobile too. Anyway my problems aside, 2.2 is quite the hype, RobTop cooked for years and he did not disappoint us.

Despite being buggy, its still really fun, but i just dont recommend making level in Editor right now cuz it might crash so best its just to play normal levels

Barely a day in and I already know this is the greatest GD update. This feels like a whole new game, and I love it.
That's what I would expect from an update that almost took the same time of development of the game to that point
It feeling a whole new game is actually a negative imo, but im just going to be thankful that we will never wait this long for an update again.
