5:51 This is the standard Coffin Multiball music, as it also plays during the "Game Over" sequence. Great piece there.

I love this. I have one at my house, and I found out this is a 16-bit using I believe a Sega soundchip!

Not really, Yamaha 2151, DAC and HC55516 are used for this game, Like most pre 90s and early 90s Williams pinball machines. Sega Did Use the Yamaha 2151 for some of their arcade games, But thats another story. If your thinking Sega Genesis, They did use a similar sound chip, YM2612 or YM3438 Core, Plus VDP PSG, But its weak in comparison to the 2151 with a Generic DAC and or other chips combined in comparison.

@@TheHulkingMenace Oh, alright. I recognized a song bass from sonic 3 and knuckles!

10:02 right where that bass gets louder is what I'm talking about. I wish to see what this looks like deconstructed on an oscilloscope, but because the overall popularity of the machine is quite low, I think I'll have to wait a while.

@@LightSpeedFury01YT The Bass FM instrument are different, Slightly similar though. What your actually hearing is 2 channels of the same Bass instrument playing with one going at a slight higher pitch producing a reverb effect. Along with the bell noise to help damp the sound a little. Sega and Williams/Midway are different companies. Sound Drivers used by these said companies aren't the same.
I did the deconstruction on both these songs just moments ago, just to help clear up the confusion.

I have this machine and I've never heard a few of these cues for things like losing the ball during mist /rats etc wonder if I've just never drained at the right time. Very interesting!

Awesome that you own one 👍

Update I went back and listened . The machine does in fact play those specific enders when you lose the ball but the problem is the machine mechanically is very loud and the thunderbolt effect for the ball end sound ends up covering it up but it does play.

@@TheTrenternet Sorry never replied about that, but Yes the noise can cover up the music and the ender.
