Window vs Non Window Piston in a closed port Cylinder Husqvarna 162 SE

  • I had to replace the piston on this old 162 and it wasn't easy finding the right match for the cylinder. I bought a replacement that looked like it might work, but soon found out I needed to match the closed ported cylinder with the open wiindowed piston. In this case, there is a letter designation for an exact match, A, B or C. This is the C version.

    162 strong chainsaw, I have 2 one of those SG heated handles.

    I also used a meteor piston on the 266 I built. With a gasket delete and a couple of tanks of fuel, it had a comp reading of around 208psi. Gasket delete on your saw?

    Gasket delete. Squish is about 032
