    We started Tithing around December 2021. It’s incredible. Not only are the provisions better, we feel blessed in so many ways. Even when a financial crisis arises, God will make a way. This is the one thing God said we could test him on. You have nothing to lose. I can’t explain it but we get by better with the 90 percent than we did the 100 percent. This will build your faith. The more he provides for us the more we can tithe. It’s so exciting and shows God that we have faith in his word.

    God honors and blesses a faithful tither to His church, I am living proof. My salary has nearly tripled, all debts paid off, investments growing, money coming my way out of nowhere and all while being a single mom. You can’t tell me it doesn’t work, God is faithful. How would He not bless you when you are giving your best in faith to His work and the gospel? God wants us to put Him first in everything, He wants to deliver us from greed and wants us to trust Him for provision, not our jobs and not our bank accounts, it is a matter of the heart and tithing accomplishes that.

It was a fun experience too. God's grace is truly to behold...

    I’m a faithful tithes and i always give my offerings on church and in the lives of others. Everything that i make i give back my 10% to the Lord. I’m not rich and i just open a business less then a year ago . I need God help to purchase a new vehicle to my business, i was disappointed when they didn’t take my offer, they want more money. 8k more for be exactly. I have to be honest, i was sad with God, because i try to the bottom of my heart, be obedient ad faithful. And Jesus didn’t help me on this one specifically problem. But i still love God with all my heart and soul.

      There have been many times in my life when I prayed for something, it didn't happen, and when I looked back later, I clearly understood why it didn't happen. The thing I had prayed for would have ended up being a bad thing for me. Never underestimate the plan of God when things don't work out the way you wanted them to work. It is very likely that God is either protecting you from something, or perhaps preparing something that is much better for you.
      About 11 years ago, I was working on launching a business. Right before I launched it, the Holy Spirit stopped me during prayer one day and said, "If you launch this business, you will disqualify yourself from something else that I have for you that's just around the corner." About 2 weeks later, God opened a door for my ministry that I would have had to turn down if I had launched that business. I'm certain that I wouldn't be pastoring today if I hadn't made the choice to trust God's leading.
      Years ago, I wanted to buy a car that I'd had my eye on. God told me to wait. I waited until He told me to make the purchase, which was many weeks later. I ended up buying that car for 30% less than it would have cost me when I first saw it. God has the RIGHT vehicle for you that is PERFECT for your business and will be the RIGHT price for you! Just continue to trust Him, serve Him, and be led by the Holy Spirit. Let HIM make it happen for you! You'll be amazed at how much better things go when HE'S calling the shots.
      God bless!
      Pastor Heath

    Differences in the old testament and new testament.
    God commanded in the old testament to observe tithing (Malachi 3:10), circumcision (Genesis 17:10), sabbath day (Exodus 20:8-11), stoning to death (John 8:1-11).
    Why some ministries teach the practice of tithing but not circumcision, sabbath day, and stoning to death? Why are they very choosy on what to teach? Why are they not consistent? Is it because only tithing involves money?
    In the new testament:
    >Jesus never sent anyone to death.
    >Jesus heals on the sabbath
    >Jesus never commanded his disciples to collect the tithes and offerings.
    >Giving is to the poor (Luke 19:8-9, Mark 10:21, Matthew 26:8-9, Acts 10:4).

      One thing I often tell our church is that money is closely tied to your heart. Jesus said, "Where your treasure is, there is your heart also." A perfect gauge to determine where your heart is, is to see where your money is spent, because you will put your money where your heart is. The fact that you refer to this as a "grip" on you that is "like a disease or something" proves that your heart wants to do the right thing. So don't be too hard on yourself, brother. God bless!

    I remember Ponchos burning down from Toms Chose Won channel. Do u think tithing to homeless/hungry/women's shelter is the same as tithing directly to a church online or in person? Also about people on govt funding. Will they still get the same benefit from it as working people? Of course to obey God too

    • @faithlifeworshipcenter460
      @faithlifeworshipcenter460 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Like everything else we do as New Testament believers, we should be led by the Holy Spirit in every situation. The tithe is not something we do under law or under obligation. It is a principle that dates all the way back to Abraham. Wherever and whenever the Holy Spirit prompts you to give, you should do so. There is ALWAYS a reward for obedience.
      As for your question about giving to people who are on gov't funding - again, be led by the Holy Spirit. It is important for believers to learn to differentiate between the leading of the Spirit and a sad story pulling at your heart strings. People can use those strings to manipulate you. We're not to be led by our emotions, but by the prompting of the Holy Spirit.
      As a general rule, I don't give money to people near as much as I give them things they need (food, clothing, etc.) - especially if I'm concerned that they would take the money and use it to support an addiction. Giving under the prompting and unction of the Holy Spirit will always be done confidently, cheerfully, with full expectation that the gift will be put to good use, and with full expectation of a Godly reward for obedience.

    Nowhere in the bible was tithing referred to as a principle nor were biblical tithes ever received from earned wages. Giving is another matter, and we are free to do so, money or otherwise, without any biblical minimum or ceiling. Monetizing the tithe was man's idea after the bible was written.

    • @faithlifeworshipcenter460
      @faithlifeworshipcenter460 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Thanks for reaching out and commenting. I'd like to respond with some thoughts for you to consider.
      When you say tithing wasn't referred to as a principle, I guess that depends on what you are referring to as a principle. The entire Bible is full of spiritual principles, from the first page to the last, tithing being among them. No commandment in the Bible was ever given without a reason or purpose. There's a principle behind all of it.
      Regarding your comment about monetizing the tithe, we have to remember that in an ancient society which was largely agricultural, crops and livestock were just as good as money is today in our largely non-agricultural society. Crops and livestock were your living in those days. Today, they are not. So what would a tither tithe in a non-agricultural society if not a portion of their wages?
      The Levites, who could grow no crops or livestock of their own, seeing that they were the only tribe who received no inheritance of land, received tithes from all of the other tribes for them to live on. Yet the Levites were still commanded to tithe from the tithes they received. So if the tithe was not a spiritual principle that God was establishing for ALL of His covenant people to engage in, why were the Levites commanded to tithe to the High Priest? Certainly one man did not need the ENTIRE tithe of an ENTIRE tribe to sustain him.
      Thanks again for reaching out. We can continue to dialogue as long as it stays civil.

    • @markb7067
      @markb7067 2 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      @@faithlifeworshipcenter460 Thanks for your comments and feedback. If I may...
      In regard to the "Principle" comment, I don't see any biblical room for tithing to be labeled as such. The Levitical tithe was purposed specifically for the government (Levites) and for the atonement system (Priest intervention), for the poor (once every three years) and for the festival (to be consumed and shared there). The only principle to be acknowledged is that of a form of taxation and in sharing items of the land systematicially. However, the purpose was always for consumption. There's ample evidence money existed and was readily available and was also paid as wages (Haggai 1:6). There's no biblical evidence that earned monetary wages were received as a tithe deliverable, New Testament, or Old.
      The key question is then, why were tithes not received from earned wages? Well, in Leviticus 27:30 the tithes was called "Holy". Nothing man-made can be considered Holy, only that provided by God, hence a reasonable explanation as to why only produce and livestock were accepted as a tithe item during the time of biblical, systematic tithing.
      To your question "So if the tithe was not a spiritual principle that God was establishing for ALL of His covenant people to engage in, why were the Levites commanded to tithe to the High Priest?" Let's consider that the Priests (descendants of Aaron) were tasked with being the intervention between God and man for atonement. There was a sacrificial system of atonement under the Old Covenant which, in the Christian faith, is now obsolete as Jesus became that sacrifice for all of humanity. Again, there's no "principle" other than for the facilitation of the ceremonial and civil ordinances of that time. These ordinances are now obsolete (Hebrews 8:13).
      Now, I do agree with you that there is a principle behind giving, which is front and center as paramount in the Christian faith. But biblical, systematic tithes weren't gifts, they were compulsory submittsions suitable for their purpose(s) at the time. The end game is that we are inspired to give, money or otherwise, without any set minimum or any limit, but not required to pay. There's no biblical promise of a reward for paying 10% of our cash to a religious institution, nor is there any biblical curse for not doing so.
      Blessings in your ministry and blessings in your giving!

      The tithe that New Testament Christians participate in is not a tithe to the Levitical priesthood, but to the priesthood of Melchizedek. It's not a tithe done under the law, but done after the example of Abraham, who also tithed to the priesthood of Melchizedek, 300 years before the law was given. It's a tithe done by faith and from a grateful heart, never under legal obligation. Jesus is our Great High Priest forever in the order of Melchizedek. His is a greater priesthood of a greater covenant based on greater promises. Hebrews 7 & 8 talk about this.

      @@cleretfernandes5972 I think what we have here is a differing of opinions on how to interpret what the book of Hebrews has to say about the priesthood of Melchizedek. Abraham tithed to Melchizedek, not under law or obligation (because the law wasn't given until 300 years later), but by faith and out of a heart of gratitude. The tithe of the Israelites to the Levites and the tithe of the Levites to the High Priest were completely different than Abraham's tithe. They were done under the requirement of Old Testament Mosaic law. Since Jesus fulfilled the Mosaic law, that tithe no longer applies to us. However, since Jesus is our Great High Priest forever in the order of Melchizedek, New Testament believers still can enjoy the blessing and privilege of doing what Abraham did - tithing to the priesthood of Melchizedek, never under legal obligation, but simply by faith out of a heart of gratitude.

    Tithing has nothing to do with your blessings from God. God blesses you with all blessings when you believe in Christ as your Lord and savior. Read 2 Corinthians 9:7. Also, read Galatians chapter 2,3 & 5. When you put your faith in a tithe, you likely take your eyes away from the true blessing: Christ. I had wealth before and after I became a true believer. What I now have is eternal hope in Christ, the “author and finisher” of my faith! How can you become a believer in Christ and then believe you are cursed for any reason. Tithing was based upon the fact that Israel was a theocracy and the Levites could not own land. There was technically 3 tithes representing 23 1/2% per year or 30% over three years. This person does not know the Bible. Know Christ and His word for yourself. A levitical tithe, a festival tithe and a tithe for the poor. The law of tithing did not apply to poor except for the fact that they were to receive a tithe from the levites due to their poverty.
