I saw him live in 1986 in Bradenton, Florida. I was just 14 and went with my older brother. Hank was drinking Jack Daniels straight from the bottle the whole time. Eventually he took his shirt off and got on top of his piano and began to dance. He inevitably fell down, rolled off the piano, and hit the stage. There was a gasp from the audience, but he popped right back up and began to sing again, hardly missing a beat. The guy puts on a heck of a show.
I haven’t seen this in years!! Thank you so much for sharing!! I have looked for this & also the CMT inside fame for so long! So glad to see this one again!! Again, thank you so much!
Thank you so much for posting this. This is absolutely badass. This is really made my night being able to see this. I am a huge Hank Williams Jr. fan and I have pretty much seen almost every video involving him on the Internet. I have never seen this one before and it is truly one of the best documentaries I’ve ever seen on him.
Learned a lot I didn't know. Been somewhat of a fan since the early 1980s. I know he recently married again a few years ago. I hope he's found happiness.
My brother in law had a heart attack at one of his concerts and Hank stopped the concert so they could give him medical aid . Later when he was in the hospital Hank called and they were singing songs together on the phone . Later my brother in law got a package in the mail and it was Hanks broken fiddle that got damaged at the concert .
I think my own life kind of mirrors Hank williams jr life. I didn't destroy my face and head by falling off a mountain but 5 years ago I had a stroke that I was fortunate enough to survive and like Hank williams jr I have had numerous personal tragedies in my life and everything has made me mentally a strong person
My grand parents saw Hank form the 1970 to 07 and all the way up to 2024 and I took my son to his first he is 3 years old along with my grandpappy and wife and sister dad and niece we have a family tradition if you would say
I'm a huge football and Hank jr fan, I miss his MNF into; not the same anymore. I used to watch the intro with Hank, now I skip it with whatever intro they have now.

The 2 best concerts I have ever seen were Hank Jr's concerts! I've seen a few concerts, but Bocephus' did the best!
Hank Williams Jr a versatile artist and songwriter. He is a ICON and hottie. 🔥🔥🔥😘😘😘🥰🥰🥰
WHen you go through his catalog .....you realize how much his father's Life and Death affected him. SO many songs and references to his dad
Bocephus was the King of the 80s!

Why did they skip over the film he did, in the 1960's, "A Time To Sing"? The music, the soundtrack is impressive.

Do you have Travis Tritt A&E Biography?
No
Never seen it before.
Good for A&E to have the courage to make it.
What year was this made ?
@@cliffhaskett7703 it was published in 2005
A&E didn't do their research . They got so many things wrong about Hank Sr , I didn't stay long enough to get to Hank Jr .
He had undiagnosed spina bifida occulta
300 grand at that time at 14 my god
hog wild !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sorry but getting back to Nature almost killed Hank Jr. Not that he probably didn't needed some Nature.
