i feel like wjsn mvs dont get apprecited. this is literally one the most creative mvs that ive ever seen. they always deliver with the creativity. i love watching their videos. as an aesthetic, i am very pleased.
this one is not that creative though, kyary pamyu pamyu's "family party" mv has a very similar concept
but all their other MVs are really creative, like Secret
IOI and Red velvet too

You know, for all the issues I have with Starship entertainment I've got to admit that they're one of the best companies in terms of group vocal compositions. They really know how to select voices that work extremely well with one another or teach their idols how to harmonize with the vocal compositions they've decided on. Their main vocals are always incredibly versatile and have appealing vocal textures too (Kihyun, Hyolyn, and Yeonjung come to mind). Just looking at WJSN they've got pretty much everything. Exy has the cool, quick rapping, Xuanyi has the delicate and angelic voice, Soobin is versatile and manages to imbue elegance into whatever she's singing, Dayoung knows when and how to use her higher pitched notes for maximum cuteness. Every member of this group has a distinctive voice and it makes all their tracks such a delight to listen to
Does anyone noticed this MV is a mix between their previous MVs? MoMoMo was them on space + color palette aesthetic, Secret was them arriving to the earth + space aesthetic, and I Wish was them on earth + videogames aesthetic. So HAPPY is their new concept + color palette / space / videogames aesthetic! Wow, queens of secuential concepts ♥

it's probably because Seventeen is split up in different units and also usually don't dance in the kind of way WJSN do :)
Izzul Azli Seventeen did well on giving each of their members their own identity. So when you look at them it won't be confusing. The split up to form units also helped. They gave the viewers/fans a bigger space and chance to get to know them one by one. Also, WJSN lacks a rapper.

I really hope people give them a chance. I’m currently so obsessed with this album, and I don’t agree with those people saying no one stands out. If you watch these girls closely you’ll know that each and everyone of them stands out. I think their group concept is really unique. Watch their reality show people. It’s interesting to see how a group of girls with different personalities and star signs interact. I live for XuanYi’s 4D persona lol. Also, they have one of THE BEST group chemistry in Kpop.

WJSN DONT HAVE TO ALWAYS STICK TO THEIR SPACE CONCEPT ik their name is cosmic girls but I'd eventually tire out, sticking to the same concept gets a lot of negative attention. Many people like seeing idols doing diverse concepts and this is what's happening with wjsn. They're gonna eventually comeback with a space concept but for the time being they showed us their colorful and preppy side with happy, this just shows how well they adapt to different concepts. We should just appreciate them for what they're giving to us and support them in this comeback so they can get their first win!

i came here to confess that recently while watching some queendom clips, i noticed that while i still vividly remember cheng xiao, i couldn't quite place the faces of meiqi and xuanyi. i could remember their names but not their faces. that's how long they've been out of the group. i feel sad for that.
i think chengxiao has practically no lines because she is not stable in her vocals yet. if you watched the live version of all the last comebacks, she was bashed really badly because she went out of tune- it was that bad to the point where she seemed as if she lost her self esteem when it comes to singing. if you listen to the MRs version of most live performances for the prev comeback, she was caught lip-syncing instead. i suppose starship probably requested her to do that on stage. Give her some time, i am sure she will do better in the next comeback!
"I wish" wasn't a fitting song for Cheng Xiao, so there's an excuse for Cheng Xiao's "out of tune" singing. The same went with Dawon the last comeback (but Dawon got away with it, but was lipsyncing her parts as well).
maybe some songs might not be suitable for certain members but one thing i am sure is that there's still room for improvement for chengxiao. Im sure she will do better in the next few comebacks and hopefully get more lines

From what I've seen from recent shows, it seems that this is the only choreography that WJSN remembers without fail, I really hope that it is because it is attached to many good memories from this era. (Sorry if I misspelled something)
fina fuckingly..."igu igu" was stuck in my head for 2 days....and for fucks sake I was like "wait what song is this from"....I went to dia woowa...I went to nu nun nan na by cignature,I went to iz*one secret story of the swan....even cherry bullet hands up to find where the line came from....and more songs but still..I then searched it up...no results...searched it again...immediately get a compilation of "igu igu" and go "oh hey that's wjsn happy,finally I can get this out of my head by listening to the song" (idk when I try figure out where it's from my brain won't shut up till I find the song and listen to it...I'm weird) so yeah...here I am..

as far as i know, a good group is the one who dares to change their concept. like trying some few ones. not stick to one concept so the viewers won't get bored. like if a group famous for cute concept then they always do the same concept for few comebacks. it's boring, tbh. so here, wjsn trying something new to meet everyone's expectation. i can see their root concept here, but with extra cuteness this time. all i want to say is, if you can't accept this comeback and this song, just go. don't ever comparing my girls with your fave. it's common concept that has NOTHING TO DO WITH YOUR FAVE. even if they used the same producer composer or blah, they're not simply copying or such. just don't act like your fave is the founder of the concept and complaining here and there.
