It could be that when the performance started they weren't actually ready and had to rush to the stage, but also immediately before this performance Sarah Greene pranks her co-presenter Phillip Schofield and plants a Cadbury's cream egg straight onto his nose, which he's still wearing when he introduces them. The full edition has been uploaded on TH-cam its Going Live, Easter 1988 edition.

0:02 These subtitles look so new for 1987. There were no digital fonts looking like that back in 1987, but I can notice the dot crawl (luma/chroma crosstalk).
These subtitles had to be added many years after the video recording and it isn't a direct digitalization of the original analog copy, but rather the copy of the another digital copy.
This video is probably ripped from DVD, isn't it?

Это 80-е, для выступлений артисты часто покупали вещи в лондонском Kensington Market или то, что мы бы сегодня назвали вещевых рынках. Ту же косуху для съемок обложки Faith Джордж Майкл одолжил у фотографа. Это проходное выступление, о нем могли не знать еще за час до съемки. Так что насчет baggy jeans Сара Далин явно не парилась.
