Fantastic video! I love these ammo can boomboxes. I actually built one myself years ago but I was never super happy with the sound quality. I had to use a fairly cheap class t amp which distorted pretty badly at high volumes. Also because I could never find a Bluetooth receiver that would play nicely with the rest of the components you had to physically attach your media source with a cable. Worst of all it actually used a sealed lead acid battery as a power source and because of that it was super heavy. Seeing how great yours sounds makes me want to revisit that project and modernize it with a lithium battery and one of these Bluetooth amps. If I do end up upgrading it I'll be sure to use your affiliate link so Amazon flips you a few coins. Keep of the great work!
I am using a milwaukee, I am curious how you set the low voltage disconnect, or if its truly needed? Tons of other people are not using them on the battery powered speakers??? This video is what I am basing my build list off. You are the first ive seen use the LVD. I know its amount of cells multiplied by nominal voltage in drone and rc building. Is that how you set it?
I used a cheat sheet i found on a Facebook group called "built not bought boom boxes" there is a breakdown of all the different battery brands , aho needs it and what ti set it at. Its not a bad thing to have even if you don't need it. They are cheap and easy to install.
Buy a pair of 5.25 CT SOUNDS speakers a talentcell battery and xy bt amp a 50 cal box and put it together. I build bluetooth ammo boxes. They sound better then JBL BT SPEAKER
@@aag6499 would plastic ammo box 17”Lx10.38”Wx13”H fit 6,5 150w marine speaker 7.4”Dx7.6”Wx7.1”H side by side on front and 7.09” diameter ,mounting depth 2.48 and cut out 5.31”?
I’m into 2nd amendment but i cant waste rounds like that , if i use 30 a year I’m lucky. I save mine for critters and when the shxx hits the fan. Blessings
Thank you!
I guess your trying to keep us “ tuned in”😂😂😂

Like it!!! Did you get the idea from the rang nextdoor? Have a good one!
Range?
First! Hey, Chris 🙏🏿🇺🇸🪓
What up James!!
Get some cheap 'poly fill' to stiff in there and you will be amazed at the difference in sound and dampening.
I was thinking about trying that.
@@KillingerUSA I also made an ammo can Bluetooth speaker and it really transformed the lower end an dampened any boomyness I was hearing.
Very cool. What is the range on the blue tooth in the box?
I'd say a good 50 to 75 feet
Very nice set up and great sound. 👍👍
How could you link multiple boxes together? Like turtle box does.
If you have an android phone, yoi can like up to 4 I think? You can also use likable amps for your build.
How u do u use 20v battery on a 12v system
The Amp can take up to 24v
Would plastic ammo box 17”Lx10.13”Wx13”H fit 6.5 150watt marine speaker side by side on front?
Really not sure?
@@KillingerUSA did yo I know who might know if 6.5 marine speaker would fit side by side on front of the box 17”Lx10.13”Wx13”H?
what bluetti is that the baby one AC2A?
I believe so. I did a video on it a while back
What plastic ammo box would fit 6.5 speakers on front side by side ?
40mm ammo box
@@aag6499 do they make a plastic 40mm ammo box? Do you think 7.4”dx7.6”Wx7.1”H speaker fit side by side on plastic ammo box 17”Lx10.38”Wx13”H?
@@kylewilliams3306 no they don't exist. But you can use an APACHE CASE M#3800 from HARBOR FREIGHT.
