I did some quick math to see how fast the shots were at the end. Looks like it took 11 frames from shooting ~8 ft behind the blue line for the puck to hit the end boards which were ~83 ft away. If this video is playing at 60 fps, that comes to about ~0.183 seconds. 83 ft / 0.183 seconds gives 453.55 ft/sec which when you convert to miles per hour is ~309.24 mph. So Chara was hitting clappers at 310 mph lmao

In NHL 14 I was able to consistently score by dumping the puck towards the net at the red line. As a left-handed player coming up the left side of the ice I would flick it towards the right side of the goalie and it would have just enough air to arc over his shoulder and rain down into the net. I wonder if that would still work in NHL 19.
