I only take occasional legally sizeable table fish! You sound like a guy trying to make yourself feel morally big whilst at the same time holding a prize fish for the camera 🤦🏻♂️
I think maybe it was a compliment from Tom. I hear a lot of the americans saying something like "That guy Ben from Plymouth he really kills a lot of fish" (he knows what he's doing) :)
It would be strange for an angler to hate on other anglers for catching fish but you never know :D Anyways nice to see a ling caught on SPJ. It seems like you UK guys are 99% catching sea bass or pollock when slow pitch jigging.
@@KristianGrSl honestly you just never know lol indeed bass and pollack are the mainstays but also we do get the occasional cod and ling as well as the odd surprise fish thrown in to. Cheers for watching bud
Good video. I'm only across the river from you. Just getting into the slow jigs. Had my first pollock on them a few weeks ago.
Excellent, well done. I tend to much prefer jigging than sidewinders etc nowadays 👍🏻
What kind of braid do you use and leader
I use 30lb Diawa j-braid (multi coloured) and 25lb mono leader (berkley fluro)
Sounds like you kill a lot of fish

@@KristianGrSl if that is the case then I whole heartedly retract my comment 😊
