Hippos can be quite dramatic when they decide to make a quick exit. The carers continuously monitor and treat Fishan's wound to ensure it heals properly. They use a combination of cleaning, disinfection, and pain management techniques to support his recovery.

2:43 What a treat for me! Absolutely love the warties, especially spa times. No mud here for fun.
Good morning HERD. Always good to see the elephants out in the bush. 🙏❤️

@@HanktheFrank You’re obviously from Gibb’s team 😂🥰🐘🥰
the elephants coming up over the horizon was nice and then trumpeting when they saw the hippo and he made a quick dash into the water was actually funny:) thanks for the interesting videos
that you post :)
Lol…Those hippos know how to cause a stir 🦛 but love hearing the elephants trumpet…🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘
I love all animals but my elephant are my favorite please keep all my babies safe.especial little miss sunshine.
Compared to the methodical eating by elephants, those warthog’s looked like they were eating at an almost comical speed! The little baby’s were so cute. Love seeing all the animals enjoying their lush green environment.
something has got to be wrong with me thinking that the hippo pipi and pupu was just too cute, that little tail flapping the little ears flapping like hes the MAN, i mean, i know im totally cucu
thank you for these beautiful shots its just magnificent, what a most beautiful country and continent Africa is, its magic to me♥♥❤❤❤❤

Hippo saw/heard the HERD and said "Bye"
Oh dear.
💕🐘
There has GOT to be a better, more polite way for Mr. Hippo to mark his territory!!! 🥰
That was really nice!
Oh myyy!😅
A BIG splash from Mr hippo and the whole pack arrives😅
Then peace and tranquility!
Great video Mr Last!
The scenery is stunning
Thank you❤❤❤
With so many Impala around, are there many lions in the area? Thinking of carers’ safety!
Yes they're, though they generally avoid a herd with so many bulls. Actually 2 or 3 years ago HERD posted a video of Jabulani Sebakwe and Somopane chasing some lions away
Following on from Susan Grant, Fishan does look like he has a wounded leg. Notably his front left leg which already had an injury.
It's a pressure wound that is regularly cared for. He is also given medication for inflammation. He's well looked after. ❤🐘❤
@GuantanamoBayBarbie2:- Thank you.
@rolffigueiredo3786:- Fishan’s wound continues to reopen for several reasons, primarily because it’s located on his leg, an area that experiences constant movement. The ongoing motion and weight-bearing contribute to the wound reopening. His carers are diligently monitoring and treating the wound to ensure proper healing. They use a combination of cleaning, disinfection, and pain management techniques to support his recovery.
@herdelephantorphanage Thank YOU! I love HERD and the excellent care you give these magnificent, sentient creatures. What wonderful ambassadors you are for wildlife, conservation, and habitat restoration. ❤️🐘x16❤️
You were supposed to show warthogs, but I didn't see any USAF A-10 "Warthog" aircraft!!! 🥰
I DID get to see Mr. Zebra, somewhere in there among the crowd!!
Get out of daddy Sebakwe's bath it's his splish splash time ❤❤❤😘😘😘🐘🐘🐘 don't make Last tell you hippo
Už jim to hezky zastrašování jde❤❤❤
wow things have really greened up
Mangwanani akanaka to everyone, my lovely eles and other animals. Fishan, my boy, I hope you are not in too much pain. I did see the other comment responses from the HERD team about how diligently you care for him and why it's hard for him to heal. Thank you. ❤️🐘❤️
the trumpeting was amazing to hear!
I love hearing the trumpeting by the elephants. I know they were rattled by the hippo and that’s not great but the sound is magical to me. I’d love to hear it more but without them being stressed.
