    Here's a concept for the double points: Have someone choose between getting +2 or x2. If they figure they're not going to get many things done, they're guaranteed at minimum 2 points. But if they get, say, all 10 of the things, they only get 12 points. Contrast to the usual x2 modifier, where they can get 0 - 20 depending on results.
    Balance between guaranteed points, or maximum points.

    • @toziassmitt
      @toziassmitt 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Almost always better to do the +2, because you’d have to get at least 3 in order to make the x2 worth it

    • @Skorpeonismyrealname
      @Skorpeonismyrealname 2 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      @@toziassmitt Which is the "balance." Sure, a +2 would be better when you're throwing a marshmallow at a cinderblock. But what if you've got a brick? A x2 might be better, because you might get two, might get three.

    • @toziassmitt
      @toziassmitt 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@Skorpeonismyrealname in nearly all cases the +2 would be better. The majority of items they get to throw/use are not good- that’s by design. They always have about 2/3 really strong items, and the rest are difficult to use well. So basicaly everyone would use +2, except for when they get, javelin for example, and then it’s obvious to use the x2. This would be a dumb thing to implement imo

    • @Skorpeonismyrealname
      @Skorpeonismyrealname 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I have an idea for a “how many” episode. The thing you are throwing through can be anything (windows, mirrors, balloons, etc.) but you make a game out of the items you use. Have an editor write the ping pong balls for the items but make them some joke or reference to know which item you use. The person who draws the ball must then choose the item they think the ping pong ball corresponds to. They then smash the items and a score is counted behind the scenes by the editors. The catch is that your score goes up when you choose the right item, but goes down if you guess wrong. The item then goes back into the pile in case someone else thinks their ball uses that item. At the end, the editors reveal the pairs and then gives the final scores.

    I wanted to tell you guys this for a long time but always forgot by the end of the vid. But you need a shorter bow string, at least 2 inches. It would make the bow much smoother and also quiet possibly faster. If you look for a string I’d recommend bcy formula 8125 as a material of choice but this defenetly isn’t a must it’s just what I get the best performance out of.

    • @edkovac8978

      You don't draw and hold with recurves. The draw and release are meant to be a single motion, not held at full draw while adjusting aim.

    It seems that you like the element of chance with this format, but I'd love to see a whole video where you are all throwing/using the same items. Just to see how you compare on a more even playing field. Maybe introduce some chance--still with a bit of skill--by having a rock-off each round for the order, since seeing other attempts might change the strategy (a la Gaunson's bow shot).

    Lol, this reminds me of a guy I used to hang out with years ago who had like a dozen or so beat-up old exercise balls, including one really big one, all inflated, just sitting in his basement.
    Now, we would sometimes mess around with them or use them as seats when we'd be playing games down in his basement, but aside from that, they never seemed to get used at all. I mean, some of the exercise balls were even squished beneath piles of junk, looking like they were about to pop at any moment. They really were just complete wastes of space.
    Well, one of the times we were hanging out in my friend's basement, I decided to just come out and ask him what the deal was with all the exercise balls because I'd been curious about them for a while by that point. He told me they were all his, but after giving his big pile of exercise balls a quick glance, he looked a bit confused and told me that he didn't really know why he had so many. However, after a few moments, the confused expression on his face quickly became a big shit-eating grin. He then turned to me and said, "You wanna pop them?" I replied, "Are you sure you really want to?." To which he then responded, "Sure! Now, let's burst these big stupid bouncy balls!" It kinda sounded like fun, so I just answered with, "Then let's do it!"
    Instead of simply poking each ball with something sharp and that being the end of it, we decided to make a kinda game out of popping them where we'd try pop each exercise ball in a unique way. And well, it certainly was a lot of fun xD. We were actually at it a while, if I remember correctly. But before long, we were surrounded by tattered pieces of rubber. That being all that was left of those poor exercise balls xD. I remember we then started attacking each other with the torn up bits of exercise balls, or would wear them as either hats or like capes xD. Honestly, it was good times all around.
    I guess I should also note that my friend would often joke about popping his exercise balls well before this. Especially if someone was either sitting on one, or threw one at him, or even if he'd fallen off one of them. After it was all said and done, I asked if he regretted popping all his exercise balls? And he told me that, while they'd be fun to have around for a while, he'd kinda gotten bored of them, and had hurt himself so many times on them, "Piece of shit wastes of rubber and air." As he put it. So much so that he actually kinda hated them a bit now. Plus, he said that because he had ADHD and that exercise balls were kinda like giant balloons. He'd really just been waiting for an excuse to pop them anyway.
    Funny thing was that he ended up buying another 3 or 4 exercise balls after that, and deliberately popped each and every one after a while, too xD.
    But yeah, all in all, I guess curiosity killed the exercise ball
