Omni-Man is absolutely stronger, but Homelander could have done the same thing. His clap is a reference to the show, and the fact that he’s a sadistic monster.

(3:44)Dude, Peacemaker makes the animation as if he had hit his hand, when in reality he literally received a direct hit in the chest from the laser, if it had been realistic Peacemaker would have died from Homelander's first attack. You can even see how his model passes through the Laser upon receiving the impact, I don't know if there is an error or animation failure
