Thanks. I figured I should stay out of eyeshot of the guy I'm tailing so I just never ran into the Celina trigger so I had no reason to believe there was anything more to the quest than maybe confronting him, or telling the questgiver about it, and neither worked.
What I hated about this quest, is that while following him, some other NPC approached me and then I lost him. Then I had to go ahead and wait for his whole story again.
After you’ve dozed until night and went to the door, have you waited around for about 5min to see if he comes out? Not sure if it’ll work, but I’ve heard it working for some people.
Interesting, it should be unlocked anytime he isn’t in the room which would be shortly after it turn night. Definitely possible he is bugging out somewhere in town though. Have you tried dozing off into the night and then waiting the 3 or so minutes to see if he walks out?
@@quicksandriggs I got it, i rested until fresh night time, went to his door and just went AFK. Eventually he came out. I had to do the same for myriddn but i rested until the next morning
What a freaking waste of time...the story and quests of this game somehow managed to be WORSE than the first one when these two were already the worst areas of that game from 12 years ago...
@@quicksandriggs I honestly don't even care about the reward. The quest is just terribly made (like 99% of the quests from this game) and so tedious to do
Oh, gotcha! Most of them haven’t annoyed me, but I haven’t played a single player rpg in around 10yrs, so I’ve got nothing to compare it to. :P Coming from playing a lot of survival games, I’m used to no quests.
@@quicksandriggs Ah I see. Yeah, good quest-design make the players feel like they are part of a movie where you can influence the narrative. Here you just waste 20 mins observe a freaking beggar you don't give a damn about as he goes about his day (LITERALLY) for no reason, with zero narrative impact on anything in the game. Absolute braindead design and god awful presentation (instead of a movie, it just feels like a mishmash of high-school grade cutscenes put together). But I don't think people play this game for the story & quests anyway so in the end it doesn't matter too much. It's just weird and funny that the dev team made ZERO IMPROVEMENT in these areas when these were already the worst part of the first game.
worst quest ever
I don’t feel like the rewards warranted the time investment either.
So fucking annoying. His house isn't unlocked at night.
Not the best way of making it, but its far from the worst quest by that it has 3 endings.

I’m glad the video helped!
iirc you can also bring the beastren to the noble couple at night for a 4th option
That’s awesome!
Thank you Quicksand. Until next time my friend. :)

I tried this but the dam door is always locked at day at night its no different

@@quicksandriggs is it specifically after dozing off or can it be after sleeping too?
You should be able to go to the door after sleeping as well, the time of day is all that matters.
Is this one timed, or can I watch him later.
He does the same routine every day, so you can follow him when convenient for you.
door is locked at night
Door is locked when i pass time

@GreenGlockedGaming Nice, I’m glad it got worked out!
He attacked me I killed him and three guards.
Lol, that's crazy! Did he attack you while you followed him?
I talked to him once he gave me 5000 gold then the next time I saw him in the town square he attacked me so I killed him
@@The_Larness That is wild!
Waiting 20 minutes listening to the same 2 stories is pretty whacked. Luckily you can skip but even then.
Yeah, would’ve been a bit nicer to sit there if he had more stories to tell.

The reward should definitely have been better for how long the quest takes to complete (the normal way).

That makes sense. I definitely wouldn’t have minded some good storylines in the quests.
Not Worth all the trouble worst quest of all time
Yep, I think the rewards on a lot of the quests were not worth it. This one is especially not worth the trouble.
wish I can abandone it just to be done with it
