Mike was a buy he still is a little boy in his head I would say , he never grow up. he couldn't handle mentally money and fame, The quetion is was he going to beat Holyfield to the title if he was going the right way...? No I don't think so Mike could knock anybody out first 6 rounds after that it is a fight real fight to stay focused and keep hitting hard , Holyfield could do that for 12 rounds but Mike no Iam sorry ,but a great champ Mike was , he was a champ because he wanted to be a rich he got rich and he got messed up

What a fucking man. I think his troubles have brought out the best in him. I don't think he was guilty of the rape, I think he was a very easy target. I think in part he's a product of his environment and that part of his character has sometimes overshadowed the more tender and insightful guy he would otherwise have been. He turned out to be very good at prize fighting of course, but he's definitely a somewhat misunderstood man.

Some of these interviewers treat Mike as if he was a crazy person. They talk to him in some kind of patronizing way.
In reality, Mike is no different from any of us. The only difference is that he's not afraid to talk about his "demons" and is shockingly honest about his darkest fears/thoughts.
The truth is, we all, including these reporters, have these "demons" and I don't see any reason why anyone should talk to Mike like that.

The key phrase in the whole interview is when the guy wishes him peace at the end. That seems to be the one thing that has evaded Mike Tyson all his life. His eyes look haunted, like Sonny Liston's. His greatest misfortune is probably to be the ultimate product, make that victim, of the age of celebrity.

There are a few great interviews with Mike Tyson, this isn't one.
How can you really sit there and ask someone if the death of their child, is the worst moment of their life?
No, he had a party and everyone had a great time. Of course it's the fucking worst moment of his life - or do you want to drag another memory that's even worse for him to think about again; and keep thinking about when the interview has finished, you've forgotten about it and gone home?
I think Tyson shows great patience and self control, to just answer the questions.

He had a mentor, rough childhood, talent, his own genuine style, pure strength and agility, motivation to kill.... everything. Still box is just a sport... and its not for these type of guys.
