I lived at actual base that the story takes place, (Caserma Ederle) and they perfectly captured the vibe of the place. In a few scenes I saw, I was sure they actually filmed at the real base and I was surprised to see it was a set.
They both seem like genuinely nice people.

Jordan is very beautiful. I find her face endlessly fascinating. Shes also quite a good actor.
She has such a unique face that you can't help stopping to admire her. It's so refreshing to see more diversity on TV.

They definitely had a serious budget. I grew up on military bases in Europe as a kid and this set is LEGIT. The interactions between these “military brats” too is pretty authentic
I wish more people were watching and talking about WAWWA. Then again Euphoria was like talked little about until halfway through the run.

Also Drake and Zendaya's star power actually helped promote the show more,the pilot alone had more than half a million views (577000 to be precise)
The show is so chill, it feels like a vlog-documentary. I often see myself looking away at some scene because I felt like it should be private, like in intruding or something😂

as someone who’s lived on a base multiple times, this is honestly pretty realistic.
These designers are incredible
from someone who has been to many army bases, this is one of the most accurate sets i have ever seen.

And here I am thinking, how did they manage to film on a real military base, but they built a whole replica just to film the show?!!! That’s crazy!
I read that the US Army gave permission to film on a real base but withdrew when they saw some of the subjects to be examined in the show
There are an awful lot of ex-military bases, especially within the US.

Yes, that’s right. I lived at the real Caserma Ederle, so I’m very disappointed that they couldn’t film there. They did a great job capturing the vibe of the place though.

I love this! I’m an interior designer who’s currently studying to become a production designer. I love this craft so much! The attention to detail helps bring the audience into any story seamlessly. This little world they created is absolutely amazing!

Frazer is already pretty big. He was in the It movies and now he's in the DCEU with Shazam. This HBO series is just an addition to his already established success.
As someone who was in the army stationed in Europe two years ago (I was in Germany, not Italy tho) They got so many little details correct with the base that it gets me very nostalgic.

I'm really impressed to the details there, they literally build a military base to shot a show . And it's worth it cause the show is amazing.
It's funny the way that Jake is so different from Fraser , he's so ongoing and Freser is so private , it shows what a good actor he is. Jordan is also a great actress no doubt about it

Fun fact: Maurice Pialat (Guadagnino’s fav director) has a movie called L’enfance nue, which is the name of Timothee Chalamet’s character’s band in Ladybird. Guadagnino directed Call me By your name which timothee chalamet is famous for !

I’m Very disappointed they couldn’t film at my old home - the real base, Caserma Ederle, in Vicenza, but they did do a great job capturing the vibe of the place. Glad they included the jump tower because that’s an extremely crucial detail.

my friend's dad worked for the embassy (and lived on base) and this is exactly what it looked like!
I graduated from the Vicenza Italy American High School on Caserma Ederle. So this feels like my 89' crew all over again. I love it! The village as we referred to it as "Villagio". There's just much realness to it all, again I absolutely love and enjoy this production. Wish I could have been a part of it.
The way this actually looks like the military bases I’ve lived on. Usually they would make it cooler than what it actually is
