Since you had the assault 144, you had the SKS and now this sled it will be really cool eventually when you gather enough feedback from the sled to do a overview comparison talk on the three machines to really give the viewers good valuable opinions and information on which sled is best for them to buy. In my opinion so far it seems like this could be your favorite sled and it’s definitely going to handle better on the trails than the SKS which was a little too tippy and it looks like this sled will handle just as good off trail as the SKS for the most part. So far it seems that this new matrix chassis was a huge win for Polaris and it definitely looks more nimble and flickable. Next year I think they will bring it to the SKS, the RMK’S, and the XCR.
Looks like you're getting much more comfortable on the sled. I'm still waiting to get my Matryx out. How do you like it so far? What are some of the things you like most about it? Keep up the great work.
i am defiantly getting used to it now for sure! Honestly the sled feels really good but the new gauge is so amazing i love it!! and the sled handles really well it pushes alittle more than i would like but i might just have to adjust some ski pressure but the narrower gas tank makes the sled feel better to sit on especially transferring your weight in the corners!
@@KotaBearTV Thanks for the share and insight, I appreciate it. I love that you can lift the ski's up as well as you can on the 850. I'm hoping to head up to the Gaylord, Michigan area from the 10th to the 16th. It will be my first time out on the Matryx so seeing, and reading some of the experiences helps. I went from a trail sled (700 Dragon 121 track) to a much longer sled, so it should be an interesting learning curve. Wheelie's and carving, and a sled that can bridge the bumps a bit better is what I'm hoping to accomplish.
Good old U.S.A you can ride a snowmobile and Shot a high powered rifle love it. Great video I finally got out yesterday on mine to scratch the itch but made the itch worse lol
Hell yeah merica!! And yes!! How much did you get to ride?? The itch is real 😫 we just need to get hit hard again so we all can ride its winter hopefully mother nature blesses us soon!!!
Damn that sled is fun looking. I have the 2018 800 Assault...next year I'm upgrading to the 2022 Version. That chassis looks so easy to ride and flick from side to side. I'm so jealous man.
Thats awsome the 2018 was a good sled for sure but this 2021 is very nimble and feels really good... thanks for watching bud and hope you get one next year I don't think you will regret it!!!!
Well I've already recorded 2 videos so mabye after that if I can find a nice hill to side hill on I will show how to do it.. its pretty easy im sure you will pick it up
I hear you I know of a few people in southern Maine that went out but the trails weren't that good a 2 inch base with a foot of fluff up top its been a hard year already unfourtantely...
So far I really like it now that I got my seat to stop falling off.. I have to play with the front some becuase its pushing more than I would like and it doesn't wheelie like the sks but overall I am impressed
I like your vids but I’m not impressed with the performance of the new maytrx assault it was slow and under powered a stock skidoo 600ace goes 100mph stock your sled went 65 tops
I have a 2 inch track on mine with lower gearing and still in break in mod I would say when I get it broke in and find a lake it will do 95 to 100 no problem and if I had the 1.35 track option it would do 105 to 108 no problem but you will Have to wait and c!!
Really liking the display on that sled.
The display is amazing for sure they definitely hit a home run on it!!

Thanks bud!! Hope you had a great Christmas!!
I love your vids! I have a matryx sitting in the garage but sadly no snow to ride it yet.
Thanks man!! And on no where do you live that there is no snow??
@@KotaBearTV Northern Maine, we usually have a good amount by now but we've had some warm days with rain that get rid of it whenever we got some.

@@KotaBearTV oh we should go riding some time. I live in Guilderland. I have a 2003 Polaris edge 700
I'm gonna have a group ride coming up soon in tug hill on a Saturday or Sunday

Does 7s display show outdoor temp (ambient temp)
I have not noticed an option for that so I'm gonna go with a no but I will let you know if there is and I figure it out
How is that possible I can't understand the 7s display has no outdoor temp
Not sure 🤷🤷
