Nice job Doug , looks like you have found another great radio for a future project. Doing all all the research makes repairs go easier as you proceed. Thanks and good luck
An AA4 was my first radio 1953 Silvertone 3002 replaced with a Silvertone 7018 in 1958, it added a basic Telechron clock (wake to radio, no sleep, no buzzer) to another AA4 chassis.
Thanks! I've already received the Westinghouse so I will be doing a 1st look video on it shortly. Will be interesting to see if it will pick up our local AM station. :)
Great video Doug, looks like a couple of nice radios upcoming! Yeah I'm having to wait for my hands to heal up a bit, before I can do much in the shop myself.
Just chiming in as you got my attention with another tube radio repair. Sorry not really into other stuff you have been doing but that's me. I hate those T pin fastners because other people in the past usually break the back around the hole trying to get them things out! Nice finds Doug. So where have I been? Found a little cutie on TH-cam who does vlogging so well I literally watched every one of her 1000 videos. Calls herself Wonderhussy and she ain't bad looking when she has her face on. LOL Steve
Thanks Steve. Yeah I was missing working on radios, got kind of burned out on AA5's all the time. So when I found these 'different' ones I thought I might give them a whirl. One thing about those T pins, first thing I thought about was how easy they would be to make on the 3D printer. LOL Appreciate you tuning in. :)
You got some good prices including shipping on the radios Doug. I have three of those AA4's and they do better than you think in the city with stronger stations.

Thanks Lloyd. At least I won't get bored. LOL
Looks like you have a couple of neat radios coming.. Keep you busy for a while..tks for sharing
Thanks George. Yeah I thought I'd better let people know I'm still working on the little devils. LOL

Hey Doug you have some good projects on the way. Hope there is no big problems. Rick
Thanks Rick. Yeah I hope no SMD for sure! Should be fun. :)

Thanks Gregg. Should be fun. Hope you heal up quickly and are back in action before long. :)
Nice score on the Silvertone. The transformer is a big plus, I figured the AM FM model would be no transformer too.
Thanks. I did too until I saw it in the eBay ad. :)
Hope you enjoy your new projects! Also hope the SMD isn't there. Cheers
Thanks PF. Hope to find out today with a first look of both of the little radios. :)
Plenty to keep you off the streets now. 😂
Thanks Leo, I certainly hope so. LOL

Thanks Jim. Yeah I would think they will be able to pick up our local station at least. :)

Thanks Don, good to hear from you again.
