for beginers the audient evo 16 its way cheeper than both of these interfaces with all the features plus smart gain which sets your levels by pressing a button then going to the kit and smashing the shit out of it, your levels will never clip again with this interface
i recommend at least learning pro tools to make you versatile same with ableton and is great for live use but protools is abit janky cubase and logic are my 2 favs for laptop workflow pro tools is better with a mouse but cubase is great with a trackpad so cubase is my fav for on the go cakewalk is good for free but will soon be made a payed licence so maybe avoid unless u really like it
Ive got the Mapex Venus 5p kit with the 22" bass, redwood.

Thank you mate . Cheers and good luck!
Thanks!
Nice drum set, bro. Got the same exact one.
id say just get as many good mics as you can because you need that separation in a mix once you get abit more advanced

Glad it was helpful!
any studio monitors will do with some closed back headphones for tracking
Hated breaking your satisfying 123 subs, but I had to help you!

I’ve actually never heard of that interface! I gotta look more into that
tourtex is good for stands nd cables
I only have a 2 channel interface. Is using an audio mixer enough?
IMO the Mac mini is the ultimate home studio computer. And you can find the M2 pro 512/16gb for a little over a thousand.
I would 100% recommend the Mac mini when going for a desktop setup
