Zanzibar 2024 - day 1&2

We landed on 9th January '24 in Zanzibar, after a 10-hour flight from Bucharest, Romania.
The island had the perfect weather and it wasn't crowded with tourists, as most of them had their vacations during the holidays.
We rented a car and a scooter (for a group of 6 people). The car costs 30$/ day and the scooter 20$/day.
Our first destination was Paje village - which I highly suggest visiting:

It's full of life, and it has some modern food courts (Bento has the best food and live events - maps.app.goo.gl/7F3sczS5ErBcX....
The village is close to the white sand beach.
We explored the surroundings and found a cool beach bar hidden in the forest: Mangroves Sunset Beach Bar. As you see in the video, you need to cross a little river which gets deeper when the high tide comes.
